Carbohydratecountingoffersmuchgreaterflexibilityaroundmealsbecauseitenablesyou
tomatchyourinsulintowhatyoueat.Ifyouwereonafixeddoseofinsulinforeverymeal
andyouwantedtoeatalittlemoreoneoralittleless,thismightresultinhighorlowblood
sugarsafterthemeal.Withcarbohydratecountingthisshouldn’thappen,becauseifyou
eatabitmorecarbohydrateyougivemoreinsulin,ifyoudecidetoeatlesscarbohydrate,
yougivelessinsulin.
