Money, Money, Money (RM207) Using money dice (number cube), roll
and add the value to make $1.00 with the fewest number of coins (rolls).
SCOOT (RM 211) Scoot on over to find that place! "A game for
determining Absolute and Relative Location" .
Student vs Family…Integer War (RM210) Using a deck a cards, take
turns flipping over cards and adding or multiplying the value to see who ends
with the highest total. If you can add and multiply…this challenge is for you!!
*Science Activities
What’s That Density? (RM237) use a graduated cylinder and triple
beam balance to calculate the density of a pool ball.
Building compounds (RM236) Use shapes to represent different
elements and use those shapes to build models of compounds.
*ELA Activities
Fall into Imagery with Us (RM246) Let your five senses take charge
and make Fall come alive by creating descriptive language.
“Fall” Back in Time! (RM245) Have you ever wondered how your
parents did in school or what are their greatest accomplishments? This is
your chance to find out the scoop. You will have the opportunity to interview
your parents/guardians and create a timeline of their life. Get ready for a
trip back into your parents’ life!
*ESL Activity
Name the Letter – Sound Jump! (RM234) Come by and practice
making words using the 44 sound spellings of English!
Around the World in 30 Seconds (RM 209) See if you can draw and
label the world in 30 seconds or less!! If you can’t, that’s ok, come by and
we’ll teach you how, as well as, directions and hemispheres.
*Elective Activities
PE - Climb Mount Jordan (Outside Boy’s Gym) Come by and climb
the rock wall!
Theatre Arts - Improv games (RM006) Can you improvise? Play “Whose
Line is it Anyway” and see if you are up for the challenge.
Orchestra - Small Instrument Petting Zoo (RM019) “Simon Says”,
can you keep a rhythm? Try out different instruments while playing “Simon
Says”.
Band - Starting out using the recorder flute (RM018)
Experience what a beginning band student does as they learn an instrument.
Participants will be supplied with a plastic recorder flute that they can keep.
Computer Literacy - Jordan Digital Natives (Library) Come by and
see examples of the different videos our students have created. The videos
have been entered into our Digital Media Fair
