December 5, 2013– 1/2 Day with 12:10 dismissal (The teachers will meet to discuss Common Core questioning techniques.) December 10, 2013– Grades 4-6 Music Program We’re bananas about… finding plurals! This week, your students used a valuable tool to determine a word’s meaning, plural form, and part of speech. Ask your student about the “ancient Google tool” that he/she utilized to find the plural form of words. Honestly, I cannot believe how enthralled the students were with this tool. Please note that we have used a digital version many times before. For some reason, students have not been impressed by the digital version. They were thrilled by the weight and contents of this tool in its primitive form. Two students remarked that this tool was “the most powerful and interesting book in our classroom.” Ask your child about our “ancient Google tool.” Mrs. Mary Craig [email protected]
