The Month of November Events
for Family and Friends
The following is a detailed list of the main event that we have planned for
the residents. These events are open to all friends and family to come. We
ask however that you notify us of your coming at least one day before a
scheduled in-house party or small outing and at least a week before any
large group outings.
Happy Hour
November 3rd at 2:00pm (in-house party)
Feel free to join us as for our monthly Happy Hour Party. We will have a
special drink of the month provided for all with some delicious
appetizer snacks provided by the Kitchen.
Sundae Social
November 10th at 2:00pm (in-house party)
Scoop on in as we throw together a mouthwatering sundae to
remind you of the delightful sun that is slowly fading
away. There will be music, dancing, singing, and probably some
sticky fingers!
Veteran’s Day Celebration
November 11th at 1:00pm (in-house party)
It’s time to celebrate our men and women who have fought for our country and
freedom! If your loved one
is a veteran, PLEASE join us for a time of remembering and honoring. We also ask that
you bring pictures or memorabilia from your loved one that we can all enjoy.
Fall Festival for Families and Friends
November 14th at 2:00pm (in-house party)
Let’s come together and celebrate a great year together! This is a wonderful time to see
what your loved one has been up to, to meet with other families in a fun social
environment, get pictures together in our photo booth, and just enjoy yourself. We
really do hope to see you all there! We also really appreciate you letting us know if
you are able to make it or not so that we can make sure there is enough sitting and
food available for all. Thank you!
Pizza Party
November 17th at 2:00pm (in-house party)
Join in the party! Each month we try to order a different type of pizza for all of our
pizza lovers. We will also have some good polka tunes played by Steve Lankford.
Valley View Mall Outing
November 22nd at 1:00pm (large group outing)
It’s almost Christmas! Or at least, we need to start thinking about all of those presents
we need to buy for our loved ones. But then again, why not spend a little on
ourselves as well?! Whichever idea sparks your interest, we will be taking just a
small group of residents to the mall to help them fulfill one of these tasks. Please let
me know if you would like to join our outing with your loved one!! If I know that
you are able to join us, we will be able to take more people with us! (Also, let me
know, if you are taking your loved one in separate transportation or if you are
joining us on the bus.)
November Babies’
Birthday Party
November 24th at 2:00pm (in-house party)
Come celebrate our November babies’ birthdays!
We will have cupcakes or cake and lip smacking
drinks. Walk in, grab a partner, and celebrate
with the great music!
