FOLLOW ME, BOYS (1966) - This movie is probably the best Boy Scout movie ever made. It has a great cast, with Kurt Russell and
Fred McMurray leading the amazing cast . . . . with Vera Miles and the rest making it a movie that everybody will enjoy . . . young
and old. It shows how one man can take a group of boys . . . . and send them off into the world to become doctors and even the
governor of what ever state this movie is set in, and how a pull of a string can give a group of boys a great adventure. This movie is
start in the early formation of the Boy Scout movement and ends in the early 1950. It can be seen how the troop in the movie
changes through the years. It is a good movie and is a must for every body to see.

HENRY ALDRICH, BOY SCOUT (1944) - This was the seventh entry in Paramount's "Henry Aldrich" series Trouble-prone high schooler
Henry (Jimmy Lydon) finds himself in charge of a contentious group of scouts. He nobly takes the blame for the pranks perpetrated
by young Ramsey Kent (Darryl Hickman), to spare Ramsay's dad, a friend of Henry's father (John Litel) from embarrassment. After
numerous zany complications, the film wraps up with the old "hanging from a cliff by a rope" scene, which seems to be obligatory in
every Boy Scout movie ever made. Though panned at the time of its release, Henry Aldrich, Boy Scout is one of the series' funnier
entries.
Henry Aldrich is scout patrol leader for the town of Centerville. The plot involves Peter, a problem boy. Peter's rich father has
decided that the influence of Henry, his family and the scouts will have a positive effect on his child, otherwise Peter goes to a school
for problem boys. Peter loves to play practical tricks on people and the whimsical pranks prove downright dangerous at times. Peter
joins the scouts and sets out to sabotage the town's chances of winning the TRI STATE REGIONAL CAMPORAL competition. Can
Henry redeem Peter or will Peter derail Centerville's chances? A dangerous climactic ending answers all the questions
DOWN AND DERBY (2005) - Down and Derby is a fun and entertaining comedy about a small-town Pinewood Derby® competition
that transforms an average group of dads into an awkward bunch of competitors. This family-friendly satire combines brilliant acting
performances and smartly familiar scenes to expose the desperate behavior of parents who compete with one another through their
children — a social dynamic seen in everyday activities ranging from little league to science fairs to pageantry.
Down and Derby is a 2005 comedy film about a Cub Scouts' pinewood derby race. The cars in the race are meant to be built from kits
by Cub Scouts with appropriate adult supervision, but in Down and Derby the fathers of four Scouts take over the project from their
kids, and get carried away by their competitiveness. The family-friendly movie, which was released as Racing Ace outside the US and
Canada, was filmed in and around St. George, Utah. Starring: Greg Germann, Lauren Holly, Pat Morita

759: BOY SCOUTS OF HARLEM (2009) - 759: Boy Scouts of Harlem is an upbeat, family friendly verite-style documentary about the
unexpected power of Scouting. Eleven year old Keith Dozier, Troop 759’s newest Scout, is the film’s star and we follow him from the
streets of Harlem to Camp Keowa in upstate New York. We see how Scouting transcends race, geography and national origin to
teach life skills and build character.
Be prepared to be amazed as Scout Troop 759 heads from the streets of Harlem to the woods of Camp Keowa. Eleven year old new
scout Keith Dozier spends his first week at camp facing the challenges of the woods - the dock test in the deep dark lake, creepy
creatures of the night, the daunting climbing tower, the raucous dining hall and the seductive Siberian sirens of the kitchen. With
help from his fellow Scouts KC, Devon and Manny and wise Scoutmaster Sowah, young Keith faces the challenges and earns his place
as a Scout. 759: Boy Scouts of Harlem is a warm, tender, and funny family documentary about Scouting in an unexpected place.
