The number of allegations your force has investigated between January 1, 2013, and
December 31, 2015, of either of the following offences in which one or more of the
suspects was aged 18 or less
a) causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
b) causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity
Please include a breakdown for each allegation stating:
* the month/year
* the age(s) of the suspect(s);
if they were arrested or interviewed under caution and what the outcome of the
investigation was for each of them, i.e. charge, NFA, out of court disposal etc
* a summary of the allegation including, if possible, the use of the internet or social
media in the MO, and the age(s) of the alleged victims
Clarification from the applicant –
Clarification to my Freedom of Information request on Jan 3 relating to the number of
allegations of causing/inciting sexual activity by under 18s:

DECISION
The information requested is partially exempt from disclosure due to the following
provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000:



Please find attached information relevant to your request. Information relating to the
month, age of suspects and a summary of the allegations has been withheld from
disclosure and the outcomes have been presented separately from the specific
offences.
Furthermore, the MPS can neither confirm nor deny that it holds any other
information with regard to an exempt body as the duty in Section 1(1)(a) of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 does not apply by virtue of the following exemption:

Section 23(5) Information supplied by, or concerning, certain Security Bodies.
