"Education make s the man"

Culminating the final four years of our formal education, we, as graduating Seniors,
can now recall what have been the most informative years of our lives. The education
we have gained, the fun we have enjoyed, and the friendships we ha ve made will remain
a part of us forever.
In September, 1961, we entered Dover High School as perplexed Freshmen , anxious
to learn and to accomplish. As Sophomores, we became involved in various activities:
service organizations, drama groups , athletics. It was these activities that allowed
us to further develop our capabilities.
In our Junior year, we, the class of 1965 , chose our preferred curriculum. Each
of us, in the completion of this third year , had determined hi
~tui.e , and each would
continue to strive to fulfill the requirements of his goal. Our Senior year contained a
great deal of filnjoyment , leaving memories we wi]
Lorget. We represented the
image of the "Almighty Seniors , " reigning bver the iess learned, less cultivated
underclassmen. Yet, . with all these precious moments we never forgot our prime
objective, our highest aspiration in high school: to receive the education that was to
serve as our foundation when entering the world of adults.
With our graduation from Dover High School, and the acquiescence of our diplomas ,
our formal education came to a close. For us it was a passport to enter a highly
competitive world. Regardless of its immediate meaning, the knowledge we have
gained here will never leave us, but instead, will guide us through life.
