Mount Everest
Mount Everest is the biggest mountain range in the
world. The summit of Everest is the highest point on Earth
At altitudes. Everest is 29,035 (8,850 meters). Above 25,000
feet (7,600 meters) your lungs find it hard to breathe. If you
have an oxygen tank with a mask, it helps you breathe well.
In January the summit temperature are an average -33
degrees F (-36 degrees C). Since the 20th century began
many people have tried climbing Everest. Many have died or
failed.
Mount Everest is located on the border of Nepal and the
Chinese region of Tibet in Asia. The peak can only be seen
from its Northeastern side.
Everest winds can go over 200mph
and grows about a quarter of an
Inch every year.
