PROMOTION/QUALIFYING TEST FOR K. S.F.E.
COMMON INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1.

be 90 minutes for all papers of both the examinations.
(Test for the position of Manager Grade IV and Assistant Manager)
There will be 75 questions in each paper. The questions will be objective type with
multiple choice answers provided. For Paper I, the test is from 10 am to 11.30 am and
for Paper II, it is from 12.00 noon to L.30 pm. Those appearing only for Paper II may
present themselves by 11.00 am. Separate OMR sheet will be given for each paper.
Special care may be taken while filling the columns and darkening bubbles in the
OMR sheet. For detailed instructions please see side B of OMR sheet.
The duration of examination
There will be negative marks to the tune 0.25 point for each wrong options selected.
A11 questions have equal weightage. There will be no negative marks for questions
which are not attempted.

The candidates should produce the Hall Ticket with their photo affixed and duly
attested by an Officer of K.S.F.E., not less than the level of his/her supervisory officer,
at the time of examination.

Please reach the venue at least half an hour before the commencement of the
examination. No candidate will be permitted to enter the exam hall after 30 minutes
of the commencement of the exam or leave before 30 minutes of the close of the
examination.
5.
No Calculator/Mobile Phone/Cell Phone/Pager and other gadgets will be allowed
inside the examination hall. The candidates may bring with them the Hall tickeg
identify card and black ball-point pens.
6.
The completed OMR sheets and used question booklets have to be returned to the
Invigilator at the end of test. Rough work if any may be done only on the space
available in the question paper.
7.
Any candidate who violate the instructions of the invigilator or found themselves
engaged in misconduct or acting in a manner against the spirit of the instructions is
liable to be disqualified.
8.
No clarification on the question paper will be provided. Toning of bells will provide
half hourly indication.
