CONCIUSIONS
this
.A.lthough only one n¡n of the survey areas was carried. out
season, aJr increase of red.d.s has been noted. in the
Gl-enariffe system. lhis j"s borne out by resuLts frorn the trap.
Howeverr generally no increases in nr¡mbers are noted. from other
yea-rs a¡d. in some cases
a slight d.ecrease was apparent.
It is felt that further investigation should. be carried. out
in regard. to frood.j-ng and d.rainage in the Deep creek system of
the Ra:egitata.
