STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
ROW 1
ROW 2
ROW 3
The second row of blocks
should be staggered vertically
from the row below. Follow the
second pattern above for stone
placement.
Start the third row by placing
the first stone centered at the
back of the unit. Add a second
and third block on either side
of the first - refer to the third
pattern above for placement.
Apply the non-water soluble
refractory mortar on top of row.
ROW 4
BIRDS EYE VIEW
30" DIAMETER
Start installing your first row
of blocks by placing your first
stone on the compacted base.
Make sure the block is level from
side to side and front to back.
Continue with your next block
being sure to follow the above
pattern for stone placement.
Install additional stones so they
are flush to each other with no
gaps. All stones in the first row
need to be leveled from side to
side and front to back.
TIP – position six Barbecue
Blocks and then remove one
block from the back of the unit –
this will give you perfect spacing
for your second row.
PLACEMENT OF THE GRILL:
Place the 22" circular steel grill
on top of the 2nd Row. The grill
tabs should sit on top of the
Barbecue Block.
TIP – for the next row to sit flat
some chiseling of the Barbecue
Block may be required.
The fourth row will be
completed by centering two
units on top of row 3 - refer to
the fourth pattern above for
placement.

to adhere one row to the next so
your project will remain stable if
bumped or jostled.
