Dear Parents,
Final arrangements for the Waterpark Residential 2017
The children must arrive at school at 8:45am on Wednesday for school registration. The children do not
need to bring a packed lunch with them. Lunch will be provided at Waterpark, although the children do
need to bring a labelled empty packed lunch box and water bottle with them. If your child is a fussy eater,
they can bring their own packed lunch for this day.
I would also like to remind you that the children are not allowed to bring mobile phones or games consoles
with them. There is a payphone if the children want to phone home and any child wishing to do so will
contact you on the Thursday evening. Waterpark have a tuck shop that sells sweets and small souvenirs;
the children can bring a maximum of £8 and some change (20p pieces) for the phone.
I have told the children that they can bring a packet of biscuits or cakes to share at supper and snack times.
We will be leaving Waterpark at 1.00pm on Friday. We should be back at school between 1.45-2.00pm. If
this is any different a text message will be sent out. On arrival back at school, the children can go straight
home.
The children have now been allocated a room and have been informed who they will be sharing with.
Please note that the number of beds in each room ranges from 2-6 so no child will be alone during the
night. The children will sleep in rooms with other children of the same gender. Members of staff have their
own room and will be spread out along the same corridor as the children.
If your child needs any medication whilst at Waterpark, please make sure you have filled in the medical
consent form (available from the school office). Then send this form into school along with your child’s
medication which must be clearly labelled and in date. Please feel free to contact me if you have any
concerns.
If any of your child’s details have changed, or been updated, since the last form went out, please make
sure that you have contacted the school informing us of these changes. I am certain that your child will
have a fantastic time and will return back to school extremely tired on Friday afternoon!
In case of an emergency at home, please contact school on 840930 during school hours. The number to
call out of school hours is 07795552431. This number should only be called in an emergency.
