The effort is expected to cost $50,000 with $35,000 having already been raised in Licking and Muskingum Counties. Justice, who resides in West Lafayette, and American Electric Power representative Paul Prater of Coshocton have been appointed by the Coshocton County Commissioners to serve on the committee. Each of the remaining four sections between Columbus and Steubenville, including the two lane stretch of Ohio 16 in Coshocton and Muskingum Counties, have had development activities come to a halt. The group asked Haseley to resume development of each section so that the engineering can be completed when construction funds become available.
