The Conshohocken
Neighborhood Council has
sent out the alert that they
desperately need to stock
the shelves for families in
need this holiday season.
What? Fill-A-Bus is a non-perishable food/local food store gift
card collection (cereals, peanut butter, jelly, soups, vegetables,
canned potatoes, canned meats, canned fish, tuna fish)
Who is it for? Youth, elderly, unemployed, underemployed, and
disadvantaged individuals/families in the area.
When? Saturday, November 15 (5:00 PM Mass) and Sunday,
November 16 (7:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
There will be a Sague Bus waiting in the church parking lot after
each of the masses. Student council members will help with
loading the bus on both days.
Students can also bring food to school, and we will make sure
it reaches the bus.

Dear Parents and Students,
Two very important announcements:
First, to help reach our goal to “Fill a Bus”….this Friday,
November 14, will be a tag day! Please bring in $1.00
and dress down to help us Fill up a Bus!
The money collected will go to the purchase of even
more canned goods for our community-wide goal of
filling a bus for the hungry.
Second, in addition to our tag day, we still need YOU,
the students, to bring in canned goods. If the SPN
student body brings in 1,000 cans by this Friday, our
school will earn a FREE tag day later this year! So, join
the Student Council, bring in canned goods, Fill A Bus
and earn a FREE TAG DAY!!!

THE GIVING TREE
During the holiday season it is
more rewarding to give than to
receive.
This year, our giving tree is filled with names of less fortunate
children, from St. Frances Cabrini Regional Catholic School located in
Philadelphia and The Devereux Kanner Center, a facility for
developmentally disabled children in West Chester.
Please pick a name off the giving tree. Go shopping for that child, pick
out a gift and return the wrapped gift with the tag attached to the back
of church as soon as you have it.
Please make sure if you take a tag you return a gift.
All gifts are to be……..
RETURNED NO LATER THAN, Dec. 15th.
This will give us time to sort and deliver the gifts
before Christmas.
Thank you for your continued support for this wonderful cause in
bringing joy to a child.
Look for the Giving tree in the back of church right before Thanksgiving.
Girls on the Run is so
much fun!
We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experiencebased curriculum, which creatively integrates running. Curriculum
consists of two 90-minute sessions every week, which are mandatory for
every girl to attend.
Online lottery opens November 1st at 8:00am through November 15th at
10:00pm. Families will be notified by Nov. 20th of their registration status for
the Spring 2015 season.

teams assemble and battle to see who has the greatest knowledge
of all matters trivial. General knowledge and trivial interest
questions are asked by a professional trivia host and the team
which has correctly answered the most questions at the end of the
night is crowned SPN Trivia Night Champions. You don’t have to
fill a table of 10 to play. You can be teamed up with fellow trivia
players to fill a table. This is one of the premier fundraising events
on the SPN calendar and not to be missed!

The Saint Philip Neri CYO is proud to announce its first ever
custom ordered Christmas Wreath Sale. SPN CYO has partnered
with Sherwood Forest Farms in beautiful Lacey, Washington to
bring you this awesome Christmas time offer. Please choose from
two beautiful and freshly cut decorative Christmas wreaths. The
Christmas wreaths will be freshly cut and prepared at the
Sherwood Forest Farms and shipped directly to SPN
approximately a few weeks before Christmas. Flyers below show
photos of the wreaths along with the Order Form. The wreaths will
then be available for pick-up at the SPN gym on a designated
date and time. Ordering Cutoff Date is November 13, 2014.
All proceeds will benefit the SPN CYO girls and boys sports
programs! Two sample Christmas wreaths from Sherwood Forest
Farms will be hanging in the SPN school entrance next to the
office and gym starting the week of November 1st.
