U.S. stocks closed higher again, Tuesday, as Federal Reserve officials head into the

key policy meeting to decide whether or not to increase the benchmark interest

be announced tonight, with most market participants expecting a 25 basis-point
increase in the interest rate. A surge in oil prices helped fuel a rally in the battered
energy sector and boosted the rest of the market as well. The S&P 500 index
closed 21.47 points, or 1.1%, higher to 2,043.4. All 10 major sectors posted gains,
led by the energy sector’s 2.9% jump. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed

City Developments (CIT SP): City Developments and Keppel's
Alpha Investment in S$1.1b Singapore office venture
City Developments (CDL) has entered into an agreement with Alpha Investment
Partners Limited (Alpha) to create a joint office investment platform via its second
Profit Participation Securities (PPS) transaction that will acquire three of CDL’s
prime office assets. Through this transaction, both CDL and AAMTF II will jointly
invest in an office portfolio with a total value of approximately S$1.1bil.
Secura Group: Lodges offer document for Catalist listing
Secura Group has lodged its offer document for a Catalist listing on the Singapore
Exchange early next year.
China Everbright Water (CEWL SP): Wins Nanjing Pukou reusable
water project
China Everbright Water has won the tender for Nanjing Pukou reusable water
project in Jiangsu Province, China, with the highest ranking in the overall score
rating. It will be constructed in two phases, while the first phase of the project is
expected to commence operation in 2016.
