Ankeny
Campus
Boone
Campus
Established in 1968, Ankeny is the largest
DMACC campus. The new Culinary
Institute building, a state-of-the-art
Health Sciences building, an operational
wind turbine, and the FFA Enrichment
Center have allowed for increased and
expanded programming. The Trail Point
recreation center, opening in early
2017, will feature an 8-lane swimming
pool and other training amenities.
With activities, clubs, intramurals, the
campus newspaper, concerts and other
entertainment, something exciting is
always happening.
Many Boone Campus students go on to earn
a Bachelor’s Degree, but there are many great
two-year programs here as well, including Civil
Engineering, Nursing and Accounting.
DMACC’s intercollegiate athletic programs
are located on the Boone Campus. The Bears
compete in men’s basketball, baseball and golf,
and women’s basketball, volleyball, cross country,
golf and softball.

the Carroll Campus can help you achieve
your educational goals.
Opportunity defines the Newton Campus, which
offers a variety of career and college transfer
programs including Court Reporting and Culinary
Arts. Small class sizes keep the Newton Campus
personal. DMACC’s Newton Career Academy

Urban
Campus
West
Campus
The six-acre Urban/Des Moines Campus is
located in a park-like setting on the north edge
of downtown Des Moines. With students from 65
countries, the Urban Campus is one of the most
culturally diverse in Iowa. It offers an array of
academic support services and the most current
instructional technology, as well as opportunities
to build social networks, develop leadership skills
and foster cultural understanding. The Urban/Des
Moines Campus also has strong ties to downtown
Des Moines companies and healthcare providers. That’s
important when graduates are looking for an employer.
At the West Des Moines Campus, innovative
instruction and small class sizes are high on
the priority list. Professors incorporate cuttingedge technology into the classroom. Students
can complete their two-year liberal arts and
sciences degree entirely on campus. Celebrate!
Innovation™ (ciWeek) is an annual attraction that
highlights the achievements of great American
inventors. In addition, DMACC’s renowned
Network Telecom program is based here.

}} Build Professional Connections and Your Resumé — Professional
groups help you develop connections with fellow DMACC
students and even members of the professional community
outside the College.

Hi, my name is Kebba.
Honestly, I’m having an amazing experience
at DMACC so far. Currently, I’m working on
my Liberal Arts (AA) with the intention of
transferring to UNI. The teachers here are
incredibly wonderful, and it’s very easy
for students to get help at the Academic
Success Center.
he DMACC Foundation offers hundreds of

Your future can
start right
here at DMACC
Coming from a small high school, I wasn’t the
most social person and was very afraid of
becoming overwhelmed by college; DMACC
was the perfect transition. Its level of diversity
is what makes the college so special, and
since first attending, I have made so many
friends. I truly credit DMACC for helping me
grow as an adult.
