Holiday Greetings from Jaffrey,
The SouthPole-sium v.2 in Craobh Haven,
Scotland, in May, was a great success—60+
attendees. This was followed by a reunion in
Spain, north of Barcelona, of some of us who
travelled through Africa together in 1972-73.
For the tenth time in a row, I was in Ireland &
England in October-November for the annual
Athy polar gathering; and this year, soon after to
Oslo for a week, including dinner on the deck of
the Fram. (Scoping for the next SouthPole-sium
in May 2017.) ¶ Lots of the usual civic activities:
Meetinghouse, Cemeteries, Historical Society,
Trustee of Trust Funds, Village Improvement
Society, et al. Hoping to shed much of these by
2018. Cheers!
