Paris Attacks

As you may know, on 13th November 2015 the group known
as IS, used suicide bombers to
destroy venues and kill 157 people. ‘IS’ or ‘Islamic State’ is a radical militant group who use violence against anyone who
doesn’t agree with their extremist views.

Don’t worry, if you found the report on Star Wars IV troublesomely tiresome, then you’re in
luck, as I’m not going to speak
about the screenplay, I will just
simply blabber about backstory.

So three years after the events of
Star Wars IV things are not going
well. The rebels have been
pushed back planet by planet,
and have to escape to the desolate planet of Hoth, inhabited by
very few species, two of them being the docile tauntaun, a lizardhorse, and the wampa, an aggressive carnivore, which doesn't
show up on very many life form
scanners. Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca and the droids, not to
mention a rebellion garrison, are
preparing for battle, personnel
and some droids evacuate, and
troops build primitive trenches,
Anti-infantry turrets, and Antivehicle laser batteries. Then in
come imperial walkers (ATAT’s). If the Rebels had stayed on
Hoth any longer they would have
become a dying fire that eventually would turn into ashes. Once
they had evacuated, the Rebels
were pushed back once again,
and Luke went to the swampplanet of Dagohbah to train with
the 900-year old master Yoda.

Yoda trains Luke, and sets up a
test. He invited a droid bounty
hunter to attack Luke, but Luke
defeated it, and sent it back to
it’s ship to leave the planet. He
was unsure whether he succeeded in the test, as Yoda never
mentioned it again. Luke is about
halfway through his training
when, through the force, he
hears his friends, Han, Leia and
Chewbacca, cry out in pain. He
tells Yoda he must go and leaves,
to go to Cloud City, where his
friends are. It is a trap, however
and just as everyone (except
Luke) is confronted by Darth
Vader! The Sith Lord captures
them all, and freezes Han Solo in
a material called carbonite. He
does this to test whether a Human can survive the process, as
he only freezes Han to see if he
survives, because Darth Vader
wants to do it to Luke, and send
him directly to the most sinister
being in the galaxy, The Emperor.
The only reason Vader wants to
send Luke to the Emperor, is because he believes that the Emperor can turn Luke to the Dark
Side. Otherwise he would train
him evilly himself, but Luke is
too strongly willed. They have an
ultimate showdown, in which
Darth Vader reveals that he is
Luke’s father, and cuts off his
sons’ hand. Luke only just escapes with his life, and once
again, the Rebels are pushed
back. It’s a bad time for them!

Probably most known game in the
world, Minecraft is a block style
game which is played by all gamers.
There are many platforms Minecraft is on. These include
PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
worlds.
There are around 10 different biomes. There are desserts, forests,
sea and the one, the only mushroom kingdom!
There are 2 bosses, the ender
dragon and the wither.
The PC version is the most advanced, with mods ranging from
football to dancing. There are also
hundreds of texture packs.
There are 3 lands in one world.
These are the overworld (the place
you spawn, the nether and the
end.
On consoles there are special
worlds like Halloween and Christmas. These worlds are only open
for a short amount of time. There
other worlds from some vide
games owned by the new heads
of Mojang, Microsoft.
This game is pretty good. Good
graphics, good controls. Be on the
lookout for new worlds are texture
packs soon.
The only difference between
the Xbox version and the
PlayStation version is that the
Xbox version has Xbox version

Vehicles
Slave 1

The article and the next is in
honour of Star Wars The Force
Awakens which comes out soon.
Anyway the Slave I was first piloted by Jango Fett, then piloted
by his son Boba Fett, but we are
going to focus on Boba Fett and
when he piloted it. First, Boba
was a bounty hunter like his father before, so this ship was
mostly used for going to other
planets or fending of people who
did not like him killing for money. He bought the ship of a
black market dealer because
that is were every bounty
hunter gets most of his equipment. His weapons are quite
simple, they have two ion torpedoes, six blasters and that
is it. If you have no idea what
those are do not worry, just
think of them as really powerful weapons. This Vehicle has
featured in the original trilo-
gy, the prequels ,some videogames and much more which is
why this is one of the most frequently appearing vehicles in the
Star Wars universe. It also appears in the game that came out
a week ago called Star Wars Battlefront and is one of the special
vehicles that you can play as.

AT-ST

Today we are going to discuss
AT-ST. AT-STs first appeared in
the 6th movie of star wars and
some lego video games and nonlego video games. The AT-ST was
an extremely powerful worthy to
call a tank. Probably one of the
empires most powerful land vehicle right next to the AT-AT. This
vehicle was quite fast for a metal
human like thing and was piloted by two me one driving one
shooting for increased accuracy
of both instead of one driver
having to focus on driving and
shooting which was quite an ingenius idea if you think about.

mounted on its side and its what
we will call chin (for a better
look at the guns look in the picture below) of course like mostly
every vehicle it has went
through a “trial and error stage”
a obvious trial and error stage
was its feet it probably went
through a stage where it could
not walk because it had no feet
and it was walking around on
chubby things, But obviously it
fell then they probably added
toes it could walk just it could
not run very well. Then they
came to this design a circular
shape with toes on it a perfect
design to walk and run with.

Basilisk Lizard

This lizard is sometimes called
the Jesus lizard because this lizard runs on water, now how does
this lizard do this? Well it’s light
and fast but that is not the whole
story, the lizard has long toes on

that unravel to meet the water
this makes little air pockets that
give the lizard lift and its tail is a
counter weight this is its super
power.

These fellows are good at strangling small prey but who would

Fantasy Origins
Super Star Destroyer

The Super Star Destroyer is at
least 10 times larger than a normal Star Destroyer, but in the image the Star Destroyer looks half
as big, but that’s just because it is
close to the camera. The large
ship in the middle is 19km long,
and named The Executor. In fact,
Lord Vader himself is in charge
of it, along with lots of other
overpowered superweapons.
The ship can hold a countless
amount of one-man fighters and
bombers and has 5000 laser turrets. It’s tractor beam is one of
the most extreme in the galaxy
and it has 13 super charged engines, each one can annihilate
over 45,000 tons of fuel per
second at full power. It is, in
fact, sometimes classed as a
space-station because it is so
large and powerful. Its’ only
known weakness is it’s main
bridge, which, if destroyed
may cause the ship to steer into a
planet causing a catastrophic explosion and wiping out anything
within hundreds of miles. Overall, this all but impregnable warship is the largest capital ship in
the Star Wars galaxy and has
brought the rebels to their knees.
Only the supreme skills of the
Empire could manufacture such
a beast.
The power of this ship is second
only to the Death Star, which I
shall do, at some point.

Fantasy Origins
Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker first featured in
the first Star Wars film ever
made and has also featured in
many books and the rest of the
films (not including prequels)
and has featured in loads of video games making him one of the
most famous people ever to be
on anything. I am almost certain,
whoever you are, you have heard
of him. Of course he has a origin
and ,like every normal person,
his origin it quite simple. He was
boy on a planet called Tatooine,
on this planet he was raised by
his aunt and uncle until one day
they buy two droids one is C3PO
come a Jedi but sadly he dies at
the hands of Darth Vader with
his last words being this “if you
strike me down I shall become
more powerful then you can possibly imagine” then Darth Vader
strikes him down, not surprisingly. Then the second film and
the third film happened and then
The prequels ,the worst thing
that ever happened to Star Wars,
because Luke Skywalker was
not in it but sadly we cannot fit
in all of Luke Skywalker’s origin
in this page because it is simply
too long and the sequels haven’t
