Student Body President`s Advisory Council Congratulations! You

Student Body President’s Advisory Council
Congratulations! You have taken the first step to being a part of the 2012-2013 Student Body
President’s Advisory Council. We are looking for dedicated and passionate new UCF students
who are ready to work hard and better the student experience on our campus. This year, your
vision is our mission for the University of Central Florida.
The Student Body President’s Advisory Council, or SBPAC, is as a committee of freshman
leaders, which functions as a primary recommending body for decision-making. SBPAC
Members will also partake in a mentorship program where they will be paired with members of
the Executive Cabinet and other SGA Leadership to learn more about the inner workings of
Student Government.
As first year students, you will provide unique perspectives on issues that are central to the
entire campus and will be given the opportunity to program specialized events throughout the
year. Through this program, you will be given many opportunities to take leadership roles in
projects and initiatives important to Student Government.
Examples of previous SBPAC Initiatives and Responsibilities:
•
•
•
•
Hope for the Holidays: Holiday Toy Drive for the Children’s Home Society of Central
Florida
Cram 4 the Exam: Programming to promote student success during exam periods
