The Ithaca College School of Music has over 25 ensembles, including three wind bands, two orchestras, eight vocal ensembles, three jazz big bands, and numerous chamber ensembles. The School of Music also has a great reputation, the facilities are state-of-the-art, and the view is spectacular. I was impressed and knew that Ithaca was the school I wanted to attend. MY EXPERIENCE AT ITHACA: I have had numerous opportunities to conduct, including three orchestras, orchestral and woodwind reading sessions, and new works from composition students. The history and theory courses are also very strong, which has helped me with my conducting.
