That magical time of year has passed and a New Year is upon
us. We look forward to what 2017 will bring us as we
remember the special events that ended 2016.
A Big Thank You
The highlight of December was definitely our Christmas
pageant “A Christmas Gift.” Our Tiny Dancers started our
show off showcasing their dance moves. Our precious toddlers
in Silver Dot and Young 2s captivated the audience with their
rendition of “Jingle Bells” and the “The Angels Sing.” Finally
how wonderful was the telling of the beautiful story of the
birth of Jesus presented by the rest of our students. The night
was spectacular. We can not express enough how proud we
are of all our students who participated. They all performed
magnificently and we are thankful to our staff, Ms. Tamara,
Ms. Kelly and to our church. You may view the show on our
website at www.pasadenacommunitychurch.org.
The Angel Tree Ministry was the perfect way to show the spirit
of giving for Christmas and we cannot thank our families
enough for the overwhelming response we received with
donations. With your generosity they were able to provide a
special holiday for many families.
Santa Clause came to PCCS and boy did the students enjoy his
visit. Be sure to check out some of the photos and our
Christmas program on our website

A big thank you to Silver, White and Aqua dot families for the
delicious staff luncheon. Our teachers thoroughly enjoyed the
pizza and Greek salad form Craft Kafe’ and the array of
vegetables, fruit and desserts donated by our families. A big
thank you to Gemma Fountain and the other FAC reps for
organizing the luncheon.
PCCS would like to give a huge shout
out to Raegan’s dad, Pat Parmentier and
his company Top Shelf Tree Service and
Landscaping, for leveling our back parking area and spreading rocks. We appreciate the time and effort you took to make
the parking lot a more safe and efficient
area.
HIP HOP Hooray
We are excited to start a new venture
with our dance program by adding a hip
hop class taught by Mrs. Callie. The
class will begin on Tuesdays starting
February 7th at 3:00 for our older classes.
The cost is $40.00 a month and the first
performance will be during our Spring
Concert. A trial class will be held on January 31, please be sure to reserve a spot
for the trial class if you are interested in
having your child check it out. Flyers
have been sent home and extras are in the
office.
Upcoming Events
February will soon be upon us and we once again have some exciting
events. Most importantly, our 2017-2018 registration will begin on
February 6. Look for packets to go home on February 2 and 3.
Once more we will sell Little Lambs cookie dough for our spring
fundraiser. This is our second fundraiser we do each year and is usually quite successful. Funds from this fundraiser will be split in two.
A portion will be used to update classroom materials/manipulatives
and the other portion will be placed in our sun shades fund. The
fundraiser is set for February 13-24.
Our second school social is Friday, January 27 with a performance
from Jeff the Juggler. We hope to see you there in the LEC from
5:30-7:00.

The Ringling Brothers Circus might have come to an end but it lives
on at PCCS. Our very own pre-k classes performed a circus complete
with acrobats, lions, tigers, dancers, elephants, strong muscle men,
and for the finale a daredevil was shot out of a cannon. Children and
families alike were wowed by this spectacular show and we look
forward to many repeat performances in the years to come. If you
were unable to make the show the event can be viewed on our
website.
2017-2018 Registration
Our registration for the 2017-2018
school year is approaching fast.
We will begin registering for our
currently enrolled families on February 6. Be sure to read through
the paperwork and see how you
can get a discount off of your registration. Registration for church
members, alumni, and PCC Christian Playgroup will begin on February 20. Open enrollment for the
community begins on March 6. At
that time registration is filled on a
first come first serve basis. To
guarantee and reserve your spot
for the fall be sure to turn in your
registration forms and payment in
a timely manner.
