NEXT WEEK.
- Next week our Topic
will be “ Goldilocks
And The Three
Bears”
This week in Green class we have
continued learning about the
seven different continents. We
have concentrated on each
continent, learning about where
it is in the world, naming a few
countries on the continent and
also what animals live there. We
have enjoyed our discussion
times and the children have all
contributed well. A big thank you
to Lalage and Vivyanna for
bringing in show and tell items.
During class time this week we have used
playdough to copy the seven different
continent shapes. The children have learnt
to identify the different continents by
what colour they are. Lots of wonderful
art work has been produced by the
children this week. We have painted the
world map and the children have all
coloured the continents beautifully to
stick on their world. Everyone was very
proud of the work they have taken home
this week.

on Wednesday and
Thursdays.

We learnt a new sound “qu” this
week. We explored the feely
bag and found items beginning
with our new sound. We enjoyed
listening to our “qu” sound story
book and watching the qu sound
song on our interactive white
board. The children enjoyed
using the sandpaper letters to
recognise which sounds they
have learnt so far.
Our new sound next week will be
the letter “m” Please remember
show and tell is on Wednesdays
and Thursdays. Items from
home can be brought in to share
will the class on either of these
days. Thank you.
Next week we are beginning a
new Topic “Goldilocks and the
Three Bears”.
We will be reading the story
and discussing what we might
think will happen next. We will
be learning about empathy and
feelings during the week and we
will be covering a variety of
artwork which relates to our
topic. We are very much looking
forward to our visit from Dubai
Drums on Monday. If you
haven’t already paid for your
child to take part then please
