Quizlet Information
I would like to share an excellent, FREE website to help your children study. Quizlet is the largest flash cards
and study games website, with over 7 million free sets of flashcards covering every possible subject. You can
make your own flashcards or search flashcards that are already created. I have created many flashcard sets
that will reinforce the skills the students are learning in class, and to help them prepare for classroom tests
and the FCAT.
To find the flashcard sets I have created:
1) You can use the website without becoming a member. Just go to www.quizlet.com.
In the search bar, type in SLC Grade and click search.
2) Click on “Classes.”
3) You will then see the screen below. Click on the class “SLC ___ Grade” for the appropriate grade for
your child. There is a group for Kindergarten through 5th Grade, and one specifically for 5th Grade
Science Fusion.
4) Within each group, there are flashcard sets for many different subjects. As the year goes on, we will be
adding more sets to each group.
If you would like to sign up to be a member, it is free. With a membership, you can create your own sets of
flashcards, join classes, save sets as “favorites”, and store statistics of what you have studied. There are even
apps that you can install on a Smart phone, iPad, iPod touch, and the iPhone so that your children can study
away from home.
