Unlike most plant eating animals, pandas have inefficient digestive systems that cannot easily change plants into food energy. Bamboo Stalks! Pandas in danger🐼 Giant pandas population has been shrinking, and today there is only about 1,600 pandas left in the wild. That's because more people are taking over the forest, and farmers climb higher in the mountains to plant crops such as corn. Many of the forests where pandas live has been cleared to make room for farms, so famers can grow more crops. Now pandas have no where else to go and no more food to eat. Even though pandas can eat meat and grass, they need to eat bamboo to even out their diet. Humans are the main threat to pandas losing their habitat. 150 pandas at "The Wolong Panda Reserve" in 303 Provincial Rd, Wenchuan, Aba, Sichuan, China can't be harmed. Supportin g the pandas!🐼 Support the pandas, they need help! The beautiful, healthy bamboo forests now look bear and have very few perfect bamboo stalks. Now pandas are left without food. Their homes are being taken away from them. People are one of the biggest threats to pandas population. Many of the forests where pandas live has been cleared to plant crops.
