Task 1:
Explain to the students about animals in Bangladesh. Discuss, where do you find them and what types of
animals are there in Bangladesh? Discuss the following with the students.
ANIMALS
Bangladesh has a huge variety of animals. Some animals are pets and some are wild. There are many
forests in Bangladesh and in the forests live different types of wild animals. There are also many zoos
in Bangladesh where we will find many animals. There are also safaris where we can see animals in
their natural habitat.
Broadly, there are two kinds of animals
Pet animals
● Pet animals live in our house
● They eat grass, leaves and home
food
● They are tame and friendly
● They care about their owners and
want love from them
Examples: dog, cat, cow, (cattle), etc.
Wild animals
● Wild animals live in forests and
zoos.
● They eat forest trees, grass, flesh
of other animals, etc.
● They are mostly untamed and
fierce.
● Examples: lion, tiger, elephant,
zebra, etc
Task 2:
Discuss how wild animals are in danger and how to save them.
Now ask students to form groups. Each group should have 4 to 5 students and ask them to research
about the ways humans can endanger animals and ecosystems and have them create posters that
inform people how they can help protect the unique ecosystems or endangered animals.
Each poster should have a clear message



Why does it need to be protected?
Each poster should have sentences that are correctly capitalized and end with a question mark,
