UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT SENATE NOMINATION FORM
for Election to Senate (2017-2018)
NOMINATIONS OPEN: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2017
NOMINATIONS CLOSE: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
MANDATORY SESSION FOR STUDENT CANDIDATES: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2017 (4:00-5:00 PM).
There shall be:
 Student Senators (Representing Faculties): Six (6) total, one (1) elected by and from the Students in each of the six teaching Faculties.
 At-Large Student Senators: Four (4) elected by and from all undergraduate students at Ryerson University.
[Students must indicate whether they wish to be nominated to represent a Faculty or to be an At-Large candidate.]
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
 Students registered in an undergraduate program or course of study leading to an undergraduate degree of the University, are eligible
to be candidates or nominators and voters. Students who have not registered in any courses for the past three semesters are not eligible.
 Student Senators (Representing Faculties): Candidate, nominator and seconder must be students, as defined above, in
the Faculty to be represented.
 At-Large Student Senators: Candidate, nominator and seconder must be students as defined above at Ryerson University.
PROCEDURE:
 The fully completed nomination form must be submitted, by the nominee, to the Senate Office (JOR-1227), Jorgenson Hall, between
9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (February 6 to February 14) and up to 12:00 noon on February 15). Nominations received after the deadline
date and time are invalid.
