Who can attend camp? Any girl going into first through twelfth grade in the fall is welcome at our
camps. You don’t have to be in a Girl Scout troop; you can attend summer camp and become a Girl
Scout. *Non member price includes a one-time, $15 Girl Scout annual membership fee.

Is transportation provided? Transportation is provided for the day camp at Camp Butterworth
only, for an additional $30/week. Each week of camp has a different bus pick up location. Details are
at gswo.org/camp.
What time does camp open and close? Day camps run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., with drop off beginning at 8:30 a.m. and pick up from 4–5 p.m. The bus schedule varies, depending on location.
Who runs the camp? All Girl Scout camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and
are staffed by carefully screened and thoroughly trained Girl Scout staff members.
What will I do? All Girl Scout camp sessions have themes that fun activities focus around (for full
session descriptions, visit gswo.org/camp). You’ll also have plenty of time to do traditional camp
activities like swimming, exploring nature, arts and crafts, singing around the campfire, and making
S’mores.
Is financial assistance available? Yes! We believe every girl deserves a chance to camp. Camperships are available to ensure girls needing financial assistance can participate.
Camp sounds awesome, how do I sign up? Non Girl Scout
members must first register as a Girl Scout at gswo.org/join. Once
you’re a member, visit gswo.org/camp to sign up for camp . Paper
forms are also downloadable from our website at gswo.org/camp
