When the sun comes up many animals wake up. They have lots of things to do.

Then it gets twigs and leaves to make a nest. 5
This spider spins a web when the sun comes up. It makes the web to catch insects. Then the spider eats the insects. 6

This duck swims when the sun comes up. It swims on the pond. 8
It dives under the water to get plants to eat. 9
This fox hunts
when the sun comes up. 10
It looks for little animals to eat.

This frog sits on a log when the sun comes up. It looks for bugs, worms,
and spiders to eat. 12
The frog jumps into the pond if a fox comes to eat it. 13
This rabbit eats when the sun comes up. If a fox comes, it will eat the rabbit. The rabbit will jump into its hole to keep safe.
