Here is a selection of the themes, activities, events and experiences that we have on offer this half term.

Theme: Scooby Doo
Arts and Crafts: Make character and monster masks,
monster hand prints, spy binoculars and a Hama bead
Scooby. Design a Scooby collar and the mystery
machine van
Messy Play: Spider and bugs frozen in ice and googly
eyed soup
Cookery: Make frozen banana ghosts and easy spider
cupcakes.
Role Play: The mystery magic machine and haunted
camp site with spooky flashlight projections.
Competition: A mummy competition and can you
create our own creature/ monster.
Outdoor Play and Games:
Join in with our Scooby Sports Day , playing ghost relay
and balancing a dog biscuit on a teaspoon
Theme: Scooby Doo
Arts and Crafts: Make a spooky sunset scene, spooky
spell book, boomerangs, a beware of the dog sign,
Scooby puppet and the Scooby gang.
Messy Play: Mystery van and Scooby Doo characters in a
haunted graveyard.
Cookery: Monster rice krispy cake and Scooby snacks
Role Play: The mystery machine and haunted camp site
with spooky flashlight projections.
Outdoor Play and Games:
Join in with our pin the tail on Scooby Doo and themed
scavenger hunt, and boomerang competition.

Theme: Spooky& Scooby Doo
Arts and Crafts: Make papier mache jack o
lantern/monster, a newspaper witches hat, cd
ghosts, a pasta skeleton and spooky decorations
Messy Play: Play and create ectoplasm slime with
popcorn.
Cookery: Chocolate truffle lollipop
Role Play: A witches kitchen
Outdoor Play and Games:
Join in with wink murder.
Special Event: Scooby Doo Party organised by Happy
Kinder Parties if you would like to dressed up as
your favourite Scooby Doo Character please do so.
Our parties are usually two hours long and can
include balloon modelling, magic, dancing, games,
fun competitions, bubbles and glitter tattoos. We
provide the sound system, microphone, and all the
party music. We also provide lots of props that we
use during the party like balls, poms, ribbon dancers,
bubble machines, puppets and parachutes keeping it
very interesting, fast paced, varied and entertaining.

Theme: Spooky
Arts and Crafts: Carve pumpkins using stencils, make a
roasted pumpkin seed necklace, a spooky jar lantern,
play with black glitter spiced play dough or make a
painted leaf ghost.
Cookery: Bake spooky biscuits and a marsh mellow
monster.
Messy Play: Play with gelli baff with cauldrons, spiders,
lizards or black gloop, and glowing water.
Role Play:
A spooky castle with sensory play activities.
Theme: Spooky
Arts and Crafts: Make a fuzzy ghost picture, a pipe cleaner
spider and paper plate web, make a spooky lantern or a
moon silhouette. Take part in blow painting, make a pompom spider or ghost or paint with spices.
Messy Play: Play with pumpkin gangue, and blood and
gore.
Cookery: Make monster brownies and a cup of worms
Help prepare spooky food for our spooky party such as,
pumpkin soup, pizza mummies, carrot fingers, disgusting
jelly, chocolate frogs or spooky cocktail cauldron.
Role Play:
A spooky castle with sensory play activities.
Outdoor Play and Games:
Spooky campfires and storytelling, and play with glow in
the dark toys
Theme: Cooking Day
Arts and Crafts: Design a chef hat, and miniature
apron. Make fruity wrapping paper and 2D meal
on a plate. Join in with potatoes printing, pasta
art pictures, necklaces and bracelets
Special Event: Spooky Party
Come dressed in your spooky outfit for our spooky party.
Join in with the spooky themed games such as musical
graves, dangling doughnuts, spider web maze game or
apple bobbing. Have your face painted
Special Snack: Cheese and ham scrolls
Special Event- Spooky Forest School Session.
Join us for a spooky woodland session at Great
Shelford Park. Make a witches broom stick, brew a
woodland potion or create a tree spirit. Make a twig
skeleton or a magic wand.
Join in with our spooky scavenger hunt and nature trail
or freeze a spider’s web in time.
Play some outdoor games such a spotlight freeze tag
and much more.
Please remember warm clothing and suitable
footwear! It can get muddy.

Messy Play: Play with tinned fruit and make and
play with apple scented playdough.
Cookery: Make a colourful rainbow cake and fruit
kebabs
Role Play: A Chinese restaurant
Outside Play and Games:
Play hot potato and hot chocolate.
Special Event: Take part in our Ready Steady Cook
challenge. Children will join in a team to make a
starter, main course or dessert.
