In this Homework Journal you will be completing activities to earn
points - points mean prizes! Each week, you have to choose one activity
from the boxes below. You work hard at home and then reveal your
beautifully presented piece of homework to your teacher by Friday. It
will then be checked to see if the standard is worth the points! At the
end of the half term, there will be a class presentation for the top 5
highest scorers. GOOD LUCK!

that the Romans used, and a list of objects
they used but we don’t.

Draw/paint a picture of something from

Make a 3D model of an item in Roman
times.
Write a food diary for one day if you were
a member of a roman household, do the
same for a British person during the same
time period. What do you notice?
Find a Roman recipe. Create it and take a
photo. Write out the recipe in case other
would like to have a go!

as a servant in a Roman Villa.
Write your own Roman poem. REMEMBER

Create a math worksheet for Roman children using Roman numerals.
Imagine you are a member of a Roman
leaders household, write a letter home to

Get someone to pretend they were a Roman military leader (or you could be this
person), conduct an interview. Write out
the questions and answers.

something linked to an object? REMEMBER

Find as many countries as possible that the
Romans invaded. Draw their flags and write
a sentence to go with each.
