Object: The object of the game is to win all the cards. Before Starting: Players must decide whether low or high numbers win the round. Shuffle the cards. Deal the entire deck face down. Based on the number of players, some players may be dealt one extra card. This is okay! All players should keep their deck, face down, in a neat pile in front of them! Play starts with the youngest player. How to Play: PLAYER 1 looks at the top card on their pile, and decides which feature is most likely to win the round. Features include Frequency, Hardness, Length, Width, Smelliness, and Yuck Factor. PLAYER 1 reads the selected feature out loud, and then places the card face up on the table. All other players flip over their top card and call out the number from that same feature. The player with the best rating for that feature wins all the cards. The winnings are placed at the bottom of the winner’s pile of cards. When there is a tie, the cards from that round are left on the table and another round is played. Only players who had cards that tied may play in the tie-breaker round. The winner of that round wins both sets of cards. The player that started the tied round also starts the tie-breaking round. Shorter play option: When players win a round, they set their winning cards to the side. After everyone has played through their deck of cards, players count their winnings. The player with the most cards wins the game. Winning the game: When a player runs out of cards, they are eliminated from the game. The last player remaining after all other players have been eliminated is the winner. The winning player starts the next round by flipping over his next card and choosing the feature to be compared. ©2012 C. Barnardo. Plop Trumps® All rights reserved.
