DIARY DATES:
***** Canteen
We are in desperate need of people willing to help out in the Canteen on
Thursday night’s between 5.00 and 8.00 pm. We have been very lucky
that we have had a great bunch of people that have done the canteen in
the past , but we are at the stage where we need to see some fresh faces
to help out. We don’t want to be in a situation where we have

The U8’s displayed another example of good team work showing what they learnt in training with the precise execution of
moves like professionals. The team must be congratulated on the good defense with strong tackling from all members of
the team especially to Robert, David and Jackson but a lapse in concentration did allow Moorebank their lone try in the
dying seconds of the game. An overall pleasing game to watch from the U8’s well done kids.
The team will be moving to the 2nd Division in the next game so if we want to continue to grow as a team we need the
parents support in ensuring that their child is present at all training sessions which is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00pm
and if you cannot make training please phone or SMS on 0415 522 187.

Leuco Under 9’s – Rhino’s 52 v St Christopers 0
After having a bye last week we were all chewing at the bit in anticipation for this Saturday. Two reasons: first was, that two
weeks ago we didn’t play to our full ability, and second reason was, that we lost in front of our home crowd.
We really turned things around this week with a huge win over St Christopher’s (52-0).
As a coach these are the wins that make me so proud to be part of such a great little team. Everyone played for each other,
which made us the unit that we are! WELL DONE!
Matthew 3 tries, HURRICANE HANA 2 tries, Zac, Brodie, James, Wraiven 1 try each...
Goals, Ben, Zac, Brodie, James, Issac 1 each.
It was fitting that Hurricane Hana (Girl Power) was awarded player of the match on our WOMEN IN LEAGUE DAY! Hope all
the mum's had a Happy Mothers Day!

Crust Pizza Under 10’s – Rhinos 28 Dragons 22
A great effort this week. We are slowly starting to play as team.
The game started in great style with Heights scoring 2 quick tries and leading 12 nil after 10 minutes. What happened next
was a mixture of lack of defence and poor refereeing. For over 20 minutes we did not have the ball due to a large amount
of penalties mostly for high tackles.
Down 22 – 12 with 9 minutes to play I was a bit worried. But to the boy’s credit they stood up and steam rolled Dragons in
the last 10 minutes. We scored 3 tries and were unlucky not to score a 4th try.
A great effort by Christian, Aaron and Ryan in defence during the 2nd half especially. Luke at half also improved by running
on to the ball a lot more in attack which made the forwards like Jai and Jack run onto the ball.
I know we have a lot more improvement left and if everyone keeps trying to improve each week we will be competitive all
year.
This week we gave the awards after the game to Jai for his running and to Mark for his efforts at training.
See you all Tuesday and Thursday this week.

True Blue Collectables Under 12’s – Rhinos 4 Greenacre 28
hi boys, first of all I hope everyone pulled up ok after the Greenacre game. Well lets see Saturdays’ game was a chance for
the boys to get in the winners circle after training again was done with a great attitude. We started off exactly the way we
had to and that was pile on the pressure and we did and come up with the first four pointer from great forward running and
Jason Yerbury starting it all with one of many darts that got us plenty yards which helped Jayden crash over for the try also
Jake carter set it up with a quick switch back to the blind now that’s when we decided to go back into our shells and before
we knew it we were down 18 -4 and eventually lost 28 -4 the boys know that we have to keep up the intensity for 40
minutes and i now u boys are really trying but we need to concentrate a little harder in defence and need to slide where the
ball is going as i said before the game please try like u do at training u like to belt each other but not strangers????????
Once again we will rock up at training and try again because u boys have the hunger all u need is to put on the park c u at
training boys Carols Sheens!!!!!!!!! PS: good games by all Dylan otts u never stop trying mate i am so pleased with your
game keep it up champ Bailey Woods thankyou for leading the way in defence i need u to keep it up mate
BRILLIANT!!!!!!!! Mitchell bailey when u run the ball your great to watch keep running like that mate and man of the match
Jason Yerbury keep it up bro GO THE RHINOS!!!!!!!!!
Bankstown Mufflers Under 13’s – Rhino’s 28 v Sports 26
OH, yes this was it the sweat smell of victory for the first time this season . The under 13s came close last week but still
went down. So this week the team needed to be ready and ready they were . Sports started off scoring the first two tries
and got cocky but then Jarrod went over for a dummy half run to sneak in for a try backed up by too more to Salah. This
made the half time score 16 to 14 Sports way .
This was a close game that could of gone either way in the Second half but when sports pulled away early in the second
half the boys needed to fight back . This came from a good try to Kane from a nice pass from Dyan along the back line .
Then sports came back and made a break down along the side line looking certain to score. However Josh Dillion had
other ideas and a never say die attitude which saw him get the sports player out before he put the ball down.
From this point it was all Heights urged on by vocal side line support Heights went in for 2 more tries to take out the match
in the last minutes .
Good games where had by all the team highlighted by great defence from Josh and Ben who cut down two dangerous
looking breaks that could have lead to sports points.
In attack Salah was strong as always as was Alex who would have to be one of the strongest Runners in the comp.

Well done boys , first win of the year. Strong game by all both in attack and defense. Lets do it all again this week , up
against Moorebank again but this time at their home ground.
Collimore Painting – Under 15’s Rhinos 10 Cheso 26
This week we fielded a full team and with 5 players from the fourteens we had a bench. From their kick off we had a
"snugglers requiring moment " and were soon on the back foot, with Cheso scoring after three minutes. We got into the
game with some good attack and improved defence, we built some pressure and Tolly scored his first try and with Jack,s
conversion its all level after 15 minutes. Another " snugglers requiring moment" from the kick off and we defended our line
for a few minutes. To the boys credit we held firm. We went to the break six behind after some poor defence just before the
half time. During the second half we lost a few players with injuries which required some position shuffling. The boys
continued to play well and considering the injury toll the final score didn’t do justice to the effort. To the teams credit we
never gave up this week and scored the last try. Jarrod had a good game at hooker, Jamie added a touch of colour to the
game and played strongly, Daniel and Ryan were outstanding while Opal had a pearl of a game. Our 9 and 7 Nathan and
Jack were going great under game ending injuries. The two Marco's tried hard all game as did the two Fraser's. Ken " man
child " had his best game of the season, Borgy tackled strongly in a determined effort, while C D, Bryce and K'ron all had an
improved game. Walksy made some good runs and tackled well. Matty and Tolly both had their usual outstanding games.
Thanks to the fourteens for playing. Thanks to the massive crowd for the support.
ADCAS Security – Under 16’s Rhinos 0 Bulls 62
We took on a big and skilful Bankstown Bulls side under lights this weekend. We were looking for a lot more commitment
from the boys this week, and although the scoreboard might not have shown it
The boys really stepped up this week. Great performances by BD, Craig and Adam in defense this week. And well done to
all the boys who never let their heads drop. With 5 rep players still out of the side injured
it is tough going each week, but all we are looking for at this stage is improvement each game and we certainly saw that on
Sat.
Dave, Scott, Cam & Jenny
Under 19’s Rhinos’ – Rhino’s 6 Dragons 36
Sunday saw us travel to dustbowl Clempton park to take on the dragons. Not our best performance. Over the length of the
game we were constantly out enthused at the play the ball and in defence. We will need to lift several cogs this week if we
want to compete at this level. Good games from David, James, Allah and George.
Also the squad would like to welcome back Greg Clarke as trainer for the rest of the season, welcome aboard champ.
Craig.
