Key:
1. Choose a Title
2. Label the Categories (information you surveyed or are given)
3. Key (must fit all numbers; go by 2’s, 5’s, 10’s.)

Favorite Type of Shoe
Sandal
Tennis Shoe
Flip Flop
Boot
Slipper
Key:
= 2 students
I choose to label my graph
“favorite type of shoe.”
My categories include sandal, tennis shoe, flip flop, boot, and slipper.
I also created my key: based on my information, I surveyed 16 students and some
categories only had one student. Therefore, I could not have a key with one shoe equal
to five because I would not be able to split 5 in half.
Last, I drew my pictures.
