For maximum stability, lower the DataCartTM completely when transporting or rolling over thresholds or other uneven surfaces. Remove lower base access cover by removing (1) Philips head screw. Gently lift up and pull back to gain access to Battery and fuse holders. There will be (2) fuses in a bag taped to the top of the Battery. (10 amps and 40 amps.) (2) Spare fuses will be twist tied to the fuse holders coming off the Battery. Remove bag and fully insert each rated fuse in the labeled fuse holders. o The 10-amp fuse protects the lift column o The 40-amp fuse protects the charging circuit You may now reinstall the back access cover. The battery comes tested from the factory and it is recommended to do a full 12-hour initial charge before first use. DataCartTM Laptop / CPU Installation Setup Unlock and pull work surface towards the rear before attempting to remove then gently lift-up to remove. Position the Laptop / CPU on the flat surface inside the CPU pan. Connect all necessary peripherals at this time. (2) 120V AC Receptacles are located in CPU Pan for power. USB is located in CPU pan for communication between the power inverter and the CPU. Holes in the bottom of the CPU pan are provided to route all cables for all peripherals. Re-install the work surface by making sure that the work surface rails slide onto the (4) pins on the sides of the CPU pan and lock the pan. NOTE: Default Code is 000 DataCartTM VESA Mount Monitor Attachment Mount monitor with supplied screws that came from monitor manufacturer. VESA mount is adjustable to view the monitor in the up, down, left and right directions. Route all cables through the removable cover in middle section of VESA mount. Leave plenty of slack in cables to allow for maximum movement in all directions Page | 2 DataCartTM Keyboard Tray The keyboard tray slides in and out, and is adjustable to angle up and down. The keyboard tray adjustment handle is located on the left side to adjust the tension up and down. Pulling straight out on the handle allows the handle to be positioned for easy use. Under the keyboard is a slide-out mouse tray. o The mouse tray will slide out to the left and right of the keyboard tray. DataCartTM Height Adjustment The height adjustment switch is located on the right side of the CPU pan enclosure. Adjust the height up and down by pressing the triangle buttons. DataCartTM Locking Wheels The front wheels have locks to prevent the cart from moving. Push each lever down with your foot to engage the locks. Push each lever up with your foot to release the locks. DataCartTM Changing the Lock Combination The combinatio is fa to set at -0- . The Lock must be set on the opening combination prior to resetting. On the underside outer edge of the lock there is a hole for the code reset button. Rotate the face of the lock until the code reset button comes into view. o Push this pin in with a paper clip and keep it pushed in. o Set your personal combination by turning the dials to the desired combination. o Release the reset button and your combination is set. *Be sure to save new combination* Combo Lock To lo k, otate lo k to lo ked positio . To open the lock, turn DataCartTM Battery Charging The Remote User Interface (RUI) is your on/off button and output power indicator. Pressing the ON/OFF button for more than 1 second will turn the output on or off. The green Output indicator will be on when output power is on. Recharging Battery: Plug AC cord into 120V AC grounded outlet. Charging will begin automatically. During recharge each light will blink slowly while that portion of the battery is being recharged. For example, 1 light ON, 2nd light blinking means; battery is between 25% and 50% charged, etc. Battery is not fully charged until all 4 lights are on without blinking. Turn the cart power OFF and disconnect from the wall. Service SOON: YELLOW Warning -- power down your workstation as soon as you can. Stop using the cart. SERVICE AND REPLACEMENT Do not attempt to service or replace any part of the DataCartTM unless directed to do so through DataCartTM approved documentation (i.e., this User Manual or other instructions). Only DataCartTM or a DataCartTM -certified entity may service or replace the cart components. If any component on the cart is missing or damaged, the cart must not be used. Contact your Reseller or DataCartTM immediately to request service. DO NOT OPEN THE BATTERY AND POWER SYSTEM COMPARTMENT Unauthorized personnel opening the power system compartment may cause injury and/or death. If the unit is not working properly, please contact Lund Industries, Inc. DO NOT USE THE UNIT IN OR NEAR WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS If the unit becomes wet, unplug it immediately, wipe away any excess liquid and allow it to dry before use. DO NOT TRANSPORT THE CART UP OR DOWN STAIRS TRANSPORTING For maximum stability, lower the DataCartTM completely when rolling over thresholds or other uneven surfaces.
