Police Press Release P.A.C.T. Academy Graduation Congratulations to the P.A.C.T. (Police and Citizens Together) Academy Class of 2016, who graduated from the 9-month program! The Bullhead City Police Department’s Citizens’ Police Academy provides community members with a greater understanding of the police department and its operations through class lectures as well as hands-on experiences. The P.A.C.T. Academy’s goal is to be an informative and enjoyable experience while creating strong partnerships with the citizens in our area. P.A.C.T. Academy graduates completed a ride-along with a patrol officer and learned about topics such as forensics, K-9, bomb robot, criminal investigations, animal care and welfare, gangs, 9-1-1 dispatch, narcotics and took a trip to the shooting range. Applications for the next P.A.C.T. Academy will be available November 1st - 30th, 2016. The 2017 Citizens’ Police Academy will be held one night a month, January through September at no cost to participants. Enrollment is limited.
