514N is a Dynamite son from a super maternal Dr. Pepper daughter,
114J. He has been without a doubt the most consistant, reliable,
breeding bull we have ever had on the farm. His stamp is moderate
frame, heavy muscled, medium bone, great footed, sound, athletic
and quiet. His daughters are now well into production, displaying great
udders with plenty of milk, that will be able to stand the test of time.
Watch for them raising many of the feature bulls in our sale. We still use
514N in our winter program and heavily in our summer, even though he
is no longer walking the pastures at LFE. Again as in the past there are a
handful of herd bull prospects by 514N in the offering that have all the
bells and whistles to propel your breeding program forward. 514N is still
in the top 10% of the breed for calving ease after six calving seasons.
He continues to be a breeding corner post for our red program.

Well here's probably the most talked about bull in the 2011 offering. Pump Jack or as we like to call him PJ stood alongside his mother when they
were named Res. Champion Female at Farmfair and Champion Female at Agribition. They also had the honor of being named one of Agribition's
Top Ten in the Royal Bank Beef Supreme Show at Agribition. We also sold a flush of 205T at Regina for $14,500 to Remington Cattle Co. PJ was
created by two of the greatest cow families to ever walk here at LFE, the Ambers and the Sheila's. So it was no mistake the way he turned out. Big

A Sangudo Special, sired by the great 514N and out of a Spring
Creek Warren daughter crossed into the Calyna cow family.
Rochfort was the high seller in 2009's offering selling to Bonchuck
Farms for $25,500. Rochfort is stamping his progeny very similar to
514N, very sound, incredibly soggy, thick haired, and harmless
dispositions. If you study the Calyna cow family, you'll recognize
the dam and granddam reappear in many of these good red
pedigrees. 45J and 57F have both made massive contributions to
our red Simmental program. If you are interested in a power red
bull to generate some performance this spring, study these

This is the second set of Dreaming Red bulls to sell. The 56K,
Dream On cross has turned out to be fantastic. We knew getting
this bull back from Westman Farms two springs ago was the right
move. He's done everything we've asked of him: calve easy, and
than be able to grow and perform. His calves are dark colored,
super hairy, extremely sound on the move and have more than
enough mass and muscle. His maternal influence from 56K is
making incredible females, with great udders, and plenty of milk.
This last fall we had a Dreaming Red bred heifer consigned in the
Checkers sale, she won the show before the sale and went on to
sell for $25,000 to the Fornwalds in Saskatchewan. Dreaming

This is the second set of Brave calves to sell. Last year we just had
a handful and this year Brave makes his mark with an impressive
set of 10 sons. Brave was purchased out of our 08 bull sale by
Jaydawn Farms. As a calf, Brave had a huge amount of
muscle, was soggy made, had tons of hair and was fault free in
his structure.
He's passed every one of those great
characteristics on to his progeny. You can easily pick every
Brave sired calf out, at the bull farm and it doesn't seem to
matter what cow we breed him to the results are always the
same. His first daughters are now just coming into production
and they are wicked young females. Super milky, lots of heart,
sound in their structure and have lots of mothering ability. We
look forward to many years of Brave's influence.

Trooper is a new member to our lineup of red calving ease herd
sires. He sold in our 09 sale to Abraham Land and Cattle. Trooper is
fused with some of the best for calving ease: Bravado and Big Sky.
He himself had just a 74lb birth weight. His first calves were all born
easy with lots of get up and grow and they are some of our favorites
in the bull pen. Trooper passed on his moderate frame, big middle
and great muscle expression to all his offspring. His Dam 137S is a
great young Big Sky cow who is a member of the Pepper cow
family. The Pepper's are highly maternal and have been producing
here for many generations. Trooper's grand dam is the great 142P
cow that is a donor cow for us and has the Lot 29 bull in this year's
sale. We look forward to the great things Trooper's offspring will
create for the next generation of red cattle.
