BISHOP MIEGE SUMMER All students are required to read the selections listed for their grades and levels of English. Testing over summer reading will take place the first week of school. Students will not be responsible for taking notes along with their reading. However, highlighting and annotating in your own book is highly encouraged. Junior level AP students must write a paper based on their reading within the first quarter of school. It is helpful to take chapter notes marking specific quotes and literary devices to be used in their paper. A notebook of summaries might help note specific passages without having to review the entire text. REQUIRED READING FRESHMEN HONORS LEVEL: 1. Animal Farm by George Orwell 2.
