JUMBLE SALE – 21st March 2015
To raise money to fund the running costs of the school mini bus, the Friends of Belvoir
High School are organising a Jumble Sale, then selling any surplus for recycling.
In addition, from the profit from the jumble sale, the recycling company estimate that they
will pay out £400 for 100 bags. As there are approx. 600 pupils in the school, if each one
donated a bag of jumble – we could make in excess of £2,400!!! from the bags alone.
The Jumble Sale
will be held in
Harby Village Hall
on Saturday 21st March 2015
from 10am – 12pm
Mr Bennett and Mr Currier from school have offered to cook and serve bacon butties
during the morning. We need extra helpers to run the stalls, help set up and clear away,
even if only for an hour or so.
Alongside serving coffee and tea, we will be selling cakes, so any donations for the cake
stall would also be appreciated. Please advise me if you are able to help with either of the

Bags have been handed out to the pupils, so please start putting your jumble (clothes,
curtains, shoes, handbags, jewellery) together, (use a black bin bag for any overflow).
Drop off/collection details will be given after half term. We will also be accepting soft toys,
brick-a-brac, toys & games & books.
