PALERMO/CEFALU’ – WEDNESDAY or SATURDAY
Early breakfast. Reach the meeting point. Visit the
Palatine Chapel inside the Royal Palace. Continue to visit
the Cathedral as well as a panoramic tour of the city.
Continue to Cefalù and panoramic visit of the city. Back
to Taormina area in the evening.
SIRACUSA – MONDAY or THURSDAY
After breakfast at hotel, reach the meeting point. Depart
to Siracusa: visit the archaeological area as well as the
Ortigia island, which is the historical center of the city. Return to Taormina area in the afternoon.
AGRIGENTO & PIAZZA ARMERINA – TUESDAY or FRIDAY
Early breakfast, reach the meeting point then depart to Agrigento. Visit
the Valley of the Temples with a local guide. Time at leisure for lunch. In
the afternoon depart to Piazza Armerina: visit the Villa Romana del Casale
renowned for its more than 3500 square meters of perfectly preserved
mosaics. Back to Taormina late in the evening.

Day 1. VENICE OR ROME/FLORENCE WITH UFFIZI GALLERY – MONDAY CLOSED
Transfer on your own to the railway station and board your train to Florence. Upon arrival, transfer on
your own, to hotel. Reach the meeting point on your own. With an expert guide, you will enjoy a walk
through the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Repubblica Square, the Cathedral with
Brunelleschi’s Dome (outside) the Baptistery with its famous Gates of Paradise (outside), Signoria Square
with its Palazzo Vecchio (outside) and Loggia dei Lanzi. Few minutes to take last pictures and you will
meet the guide to enter the Uffizi Gallery (Monday closed) to visit its famous and beautiful collections of
Italian Renaissance paintings. The tour will finish by enjoying the beautiful view of Florence, from Uffizi
terrace. It is possible to remain into the museum until closing time. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, reach the arranged meeting point for a whole day dedicated to the discovery of one of the
most enchanting landscapes in the world. Five (cinque)
villages, suspended between sea and land listed by
UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Your visit will begin at
daybreak, with arrival at La Spezia, where your will take a
train to Riomaggiore. The village, dating from the early
thirteenth century, is known for its historic character and
its wine. You will then reach Manarola. Your journey will
continue to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village
considered the pearl of the Cinque Terre, where you will
be overcome by its enchanting beaches and lush vegetation that surround the little town. Take the boat
(depending on weather/sea condition) to Vernazza, a seaside town surrounding a little natural port.
Lunch is included en route. In addition to comfortable clothes, we
recommend to have with you a swimwear and a hat to protect you
against the sun. The tour will end in front of Santa Maria Novella
Station area in Florence. Back to hotel on your own and overnight.

have an enjoyable full day tour driving south from Florence and
crossing the beautiful Hills of Chianti. You will first reach San
Gimignano, a picturesque, fascinating medieval town declared a
World heritage Site by UNESCO and famous for its white wine,
the world renowned “Vernaccia”. Free time is given for
independent sightseeing. You will have time to wind your way
through the narrow streets and admire the relaxing landscape
surrounding the village. Your day will continue to Siena, a
medieval town with the suggestive Piazza del Campo, famous for
the Palio race. You will continue on the direction of the Duomo (outside), one of the most fascinating
Italian churches in Gothic style: you will visit its interior and the relative Piccolomini bookshop. In the

After breakfast, depart to Capri by ferry and enjoy breathtaking views of the most famous coastline in Italy.
Arrival in Capri and guided tour of the island by minibus. Stop in Anacapri for a short visit and continue to

After breakfast, depart to Capri by ferry and enjoy breathtaking views of the most famous coastline in Italy.
Arrival in Capri and guided tour of the island by minibus. Stop in Anacapri for a short visit and continue to
Capri. Lunch at a local restaurant. Time at leisure for shopping around Capri’s boutiques or having a coffee
in a café on Piazza Umberto I or joining an optional excursion to the Blue Grotto (€) to admire the stunning

DAY 5. AMALFI COAST/FLORENCE (550 KM)
Breakfast. Pick up at hotel for your transfer to the railway station to board the train to Florence and head North
through the gentle Umbrian hills that have inspired saints, artists and admirers of beauty. Your route continues
through the Tuscan countryside to
Florence, the “Cradle of the
Renaissance”. Upon arrival in Florence

on your own to hotel. Rest of the day

DAY 6. UFFIZI GALLERY VISIT –

possibility to visit the Accademia
gallery (optional €). In the afternoon
your walking tour will demonstrate the most fascinating and interesting places of Florence: Palazzo Vecchio
and Loggia dei Lanzi, Repubblica square, the Cathedral with the Brunelleschi’s Dome, the Baptistery with its
famous Gates of Paradise. At the end of the walking tour, you will enter the Uffizi Gallery (Monday closed) to visit
its beautiful collections of paintings from the Italian Renaissance. The tour will end on the Uffizi’s terrace to
admire the beautiful view on the Ponte Vecchio and the typical goldsmiths’ shops. Overnight. (B)
DAY 7. FLORENCE / SIENA / SAN GIMIGNANO / CHIANTI / FLORENCE (170KM)
Breakfast at hotel. Reach the arranged meeting point for a full day tour driving south from Florence and crossing
the beautiful Hills of Chianti. You will first reach San Gimignano, a picturesque, fascinating medieval town
declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO and famous for its white wine, the world renowned Vernaccia. The
visit is at leisure for independent sightseeing. You will have time to wind your way through the narrow streets
and to admire the relaxing landscape surrounding the village. Your day will continue to Siena, a medieval town
with the suggestive Piazza del Campo famous for the Palio, Torre del Mangia. You will continue on the direction
of the Duomo, one of the most fascinating Italian churches in Gothic style: you will visit its interior and the
relative Piccolomini Bookshop. In the afternoon the tour will move to the Chianti area with its impressive
picture-postcard landscape and, at a famous wine estate, you will taste the best Chianti red wine along with
home-made snacks. The tour will ends in front of Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence. Back to hotel on your

DAY 8. FLORENCE/CINQUE TERRE/FLORENCE (390 KM)
After breakfast, reach the arranged meeting point for a whole day dedicated to the discovery of one of the most
enchanting landscapes in the world. Five (cinque) villages, suspended between sea and land listed by UNESCO as
a World Heritage site. Your visit will begin at daybreak, with arrival at La Spezia, where you will take a train to
Riomaggiore. The village, dating from the early thirteenth century, is known for its historic character and its
wine. You will then reach Manarola. Your journey will continue to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village
considered the pearl of the Cinque Terre, where you will be overcome by its enchanting beaches and lush
vegetation that surround the little town. Take the boat (depending on weather/sea condition) to Vernazza, a
seaside town surrounding a little natural port. Lunch is included en route. In addition to comfortable clothes, we
recommend to have with you a swimwear and a hat to protect you against the sun. The tour will end in front of
Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence. Back to the hotel on your own and overnight. (B, L)
