Mikvah Special Announcements:
1. The Keilim Mikvah is temporarily
closed. There is a Keilim Mikvah in
Washington Heights behind KAJ at 85
Bennett Ave. Call 212-923-3582 for hours.
2. For the next few nights access to the
Mikvah will be through the front door.
(There are signs posted that will guide you
through the building.)
Hours:
*Fri night: 40 min after candlelighting. No
appointment needed, but please be on time.
*Sat. night: 9:45-11pm
*Sun-Thurs. (9:00-10:30pm)
Reminder: We currently have only two shower
preparation rooms available. Please prepare at
home as much as possible.

Host Shluchot (Young Israeli Ambassadors)
We are seeking warm, welcoming families to host two Israeli young women for
the summer. The shlichot will be working with Camp Twelve Trails to bring

High School students are invited to apply for the L'Dor V'Dor Summer Internship where they work with residents at the Hebrew Home while studying Jewish texts & traditions about the elderly. Students will make a difference in
someone’s life and, as one participant put it, “I never realized how much this
experience was going to make a difference in mine." There will also be a $500

Eichah Rabbah: Midrash as a Response to Destruction
Look for the invitation to participate in the Women's Health Survey posted on
RiverdaleShuls by ARCC Institute, a frum research organization, and Columbia
University Medical Center. The survey asks about attitudes towards getting
tested for the BRCA (breast and ovarian cancer) susceptibility gene. Your participation will greatly assist this essential research.

June 26—Free CPR Course from Riverdale Hatzalah
6:30pm: Riverdale Hatzalah Volunteer EMS will be offering a free American
Heart Association CPR course for the community-at-large at Congregation Sons
of Israel (North Riverdale / Yonkers) —no prior knowledge required. This class
will cover adult and pediatric CPR skills, choking relief and use of a defibrillator. Registration is required and space is limited. To register, please go
