group. Encourage them to use a range of expressions for
giving opinion (Lesson C) and a variety of vocabulary to talk
about qualities (Lesson F). Get feedback.
For task C, each group needs to select / be given a different
job from A to write an advert for. Give students time to plan
the content of their advert and make notes on the handout.
Students then write their advert, using a word processing
application, such as Microsoft Word.
When students have finished, get a couple of volunteers
to collate all the adverts onto one A4 page. A copy of this
should then be printed out for each group. If computers are
not available, the adverts can be hand-written, stuck onto
one page and photocopied.
Tell students to read all the adverts and discuss in their group
which job they would apply for and why.
As an extension task, students could select one of the adverts
and write a letter of application.
