
Gunsoranyotherkindofweaponarenotallowedonthepremises
andtheuseofdrugsarestrictlyprohibited.Aswealsoaccommodate
minorshereattheDonBosco,theconsummationofalcoholisonly
allowedinyourroomorinthepartyroom.However,wedonot
tolerateanyobviouslyintoxicatedresidents.Furthermore,
providingalcoholtominors(studentsorapprentices)isabsolutely
nottoleratedeither!

Youarenotallowedtosmokeinyourroom,intheentirelivingor
playareas,orinfrontofthebuilding.Youareallowedtosmokeinthe
barareaandtheinnercourtyard–pleaseusetheprovidedashtrays!
Exit
Ourmainentrancedoorhasanautomatedlockingmechanism.Youwillget
akeyinordertobeabletocomeinsideatanytime.Tobeincompliance
with ireregulations,youarenotallowedtolocktheentrancedoor.When
cominghomeafter10:00p.m.,pleasepayattentiontothequiettime
outside,aswellasinsidethebuilding.
Visitors
VisitorstotheDonBoscoresidencearewelcome–allvisitorsare

Dormitory/HallofResidence

Theapplicationforadormroomisgenerallyvalidforoneschool
year(SeptemberuntilJune).Thisstipulation,however,doesnotapplyto
foreignstudents.

ResidentsattheDonBoscowhowanttoreturnforthenextschool
yearareadvisedto illouttheREAPPLICATIONformwhichwewillhand
out.Pleasesubmitthereapplicationformbythedeadlinedatewhich
willbedeterminedbytheDonBoscomanagement.Applicationswhich
arenotturnedincannotbeconsideredandthenextapplicantinline
willreceivetheaccommodation.Whenreapplying,thesametermsand
conditions(intermsofleavingtheDonBoscoresidence)applyaswith
theinitialapplication.VacatingtheDonBoscoresidenceduringthe
durationofthecontractispossibleonlyincertaincasesofhardshipand
onlyinagreementwiththeDonBoscomanagement.Youwillbe
requiredtocontinuepayingrentfortheroomuntilanewtenanthas
beenfound.Incaseofeviction,youarerequiredtokeeppayingthe
monthlyrentuntilthecontractexpires.
Rent
The account must be balanced monthly, therentwillbedebitedfromthe
designatedpayerviaelectronicbanking(ELBA)every6thofamonth.
(Foreignstudentsarepermittedtopayincash.)Youhavetopaythe
expensesincaseofreclaim.Forreservationafterthe15thofthemonthyou
cangetadiscountinconsultationwiththemanagement.

Wedonotassumeanyliabilityforyourpersonalitems;therefore,itis

Whattodoincaseof ireandwhenthehousealarmgoesoff.
1.REPORTTHEEMERGENCY:
Ifyounoticea ireorsmokeinthebuilding-nomatterhowbigthe iremaybeand
howextensivethesmokemaybe,evenifyouonlysmellsmoke–donothesitate
andimmediatelyactivate(push)thenearest irealarmbutton.
Firealarmbuttonsarelocatedthroughoutthebuildingnexttoexitsandemergency
exits.Firstyouneedtobreaktheglass(itisbesttouseyourelbow)andthenpush
theblackbutton.Immediately,theinternalhousealarm,aswellasthealarmthat
goesthroughtothe iredepartment,willbeactivated.
2.RESCUE:
Afterreportingtheemergency,itneedstobedeterminedifpeopleareendangered.
Rescuingpeopleisthemainpriorityandmustcomebefore ightingthe ire.
Endangeredresidentshavetobewarned.Ifapersonison ire,donotlethim/her
runaway.Makethepersonwhoison ireliedownandtrytochokethe lames
withblanketsorcoats.Ifyourclothesareon ire,stop,dropandroll.
Ifyouarelockedinaroom(unabletogetoutofaroom),openthewindowor
smashtheglassandmakeothersawarethatyouaretrappedbyshoutingloudly.
Alwaysusetheclosestemergencyexit;ifthe iresafetydoorsdon`tshut
automatically,closethem.
Neveruseelevators/liftsincaseofa ire.
3.EXTINGUISHING:
Ifyouthinkyouarecapable,trytoextinguishthe irewiththe ireextinguishers
providedthroughoutthebuilding.Ifthe ireistoobigorthesmokeis
toostrongyoushoulddiscontinuetryingtoputoutthe ire–yoursafetycounts!
Closedoorsandwindowsandwaitforthearrivalofthe iredepartment.

Thismeansthatthereis iresomewhereinthebuildingorthatthereisadifferentkind
ofdangerthatmakesitimportanttoevacuatetheresidents.
