Chelsea Center Dedication
Dignitaries, representatives from the Ceres Foundation, NOH board members and
community stakeholders all gathered on April 22 to recognize the important educational
and community programs provided by the Chelsea Center. It was a day not to be

Ten. What this group lacks in size is made up by their individual prowess. In other

New Moves, New Beginnings
Big thanks to our NOH family who helped our recent graduates, volunteers and boys
move into their new homes in March. For the graduates, it was an emotional farewell to
“Papa’s House,” the home of their childhood, but an exciting and important step into

Happy Birthday, Anita! Our dear friend and sister Anita Mahato turned 27 in April. We celebrated the special
occasion with a giant cake, gifts and so much laughter. Anita has been with us since she
was 16—and has always been a respected, loved and integral part of the NOH family.

Goodbye Smiley…
If there was ever a dog who possessed supernatural powers, it would be Smiley. For
almost nine years, Smiley was a great friend, confidant and protector for all of us at

individuals sharing our mission to provide for the welfare of children in Nepal who are
rescued from slavery, orphaned, abandoned, or otherwise not supported by their
parents.
