AIMS TESTING is almost here.
FALL-Testing dates for 11th and 12th grade students
retesting to Meet or Exceed standards. Please make
sure your student has had a good night’s rest and is
ready for the test.

Open House & Grade Night is Thursday,
October 22, 2009.
Please come pick up your student’s grades,
conference with teachers, and enjoy a barbecue
provided by WAA. Dinner will be served
from 5:30~7PM. All very informal, come and go at
your convenience. Yes, bring the little kids too.
Your student can earn Star
Points just for you
showing up and earn
double points if
he/she comes with you.
AIMS Breakfast Time!!
As a school staff, we have a tradition of cooking
breakfast for ALL students on AIMS Test days. All
food is donated by staff and parents.
Listed below is a list of food needed for the breakfast:
 5 dozen eggs per day – or a total of 15 dozen
 5 dozen tortillas per day- total 15 dozen
 Salsa or sour cream
 Black olives, green chilis
 Grated cheese (about 6 lbs.)
 Ground beef – approximately 9 lbs.
 Hash browns – 3 large packages
Just one item (1 can olives, 1 dozen eggs, etc.) is all you
need to donate. If everyone signs up to bring something,
we can cook breakfast for 50 people each day. Thank
you for any help you can give us!!
Learn & Serve Leadership Camp
Our school is lucky enough to have four students and our
Principal, Mrs. Garcia, attend a 3 day Learn and Serve
Conference, “Prescott Leadership Camp.” Our students
were given instructions and insight into how to
demonstrate leadership skills on our campus and in their
community.
Graduation Products & Class Rings
A new phone system has been installed in all
Wickenburg Unified Schools. Please be patient,
(and call back if we accidentally drop you) as we all
learn how to use the system correctly. Thank you.

A BIG THANKS to CAROL BLAKELEY for
being so kind as to take Senior Pictures for some of
our students.
This year, Elite Southwest Balfour is the name of
the company selling Senior Cap & Gowns. They
also offer other Graduation Supplies, and Class
Rings. Elite was on the WHS campus, on Oct. 7th
and 8th to take orders and give out information.
Your student should have received a packet of
information. You can see all products though, by
logging onto their website at www.balfour.com
Their next visit will be on Monday, November 23 rd.
