The Divide Golf Club The Divide Golf Club offers spacious Bermuda fairways and large undulating bent‐grass greens. Voted Charlotte's Best Golf Course in 1997 by Charlotte's Best Magazine, the Divide Golf Club presents a challenging golf course for golfers of all skill levels. The club derived its name, The Divide, due to the fact that it is located in both Mecklenburg and Union Counties. Opened in 1995, The Divide Golf Club features a traditional designed 18‐hole golf course by John Casell, II. Spacious Bermuda fairways and large undulating bent grass greens offer golfers a challenge that will keep them coming back. . Four sets of tees allow golfers of all abilities to enjoy the Divide. The course features a number of slight elevation changes which are appealing to the eye and add to the challenge. PGA JLG features team vs. team competitions in structured leagues that provide a popular, less stressful scramble format as opposed to stroke‐play competition.  The two‐player scramble format allows for all participants to feel connected with the team. Becoming a Divide Golf Club Member is easy. Here are the simple steps to joining. SIGN UP & MEMBER DUES PROCESSING There is a Membership Application attached to this packet. Complete all the information and either mail the application or bring it to the club. The initial Monthly Dues fee can be paid by check or credit card. With your application, your first month’s dues [prorated from signup day] will be processed to the credit card you indicate. Checks should be made payable to Divide Golf Club. Monthly Dues are electronically withdrawn on the last day of each month to a secured file to your credit card on record. An e‐mail communication to the membership application e‐mail address will be sent from the payment processor two to three days in advance of the charge and again on the day after informing you of the completion of the transaction. The e‐mail communication will also advise if a problem occurred with the transaction i.e.… credit card decline, invalid expiration date, etc. If a monthly dues credit card charge is denied, immediate advisement is required by the individual member or membership will be suspended. To end or cease a membership, a 30‐day written [e‐mail] cancellation in advance of the next billing date [last day of month] is mandatory and required. Verbal communication cannot be accepted.
