CAST AND CREW
Katie Poole (Stage Manager) is beginning her first show this year with
Imagine Columbus. Katie has been a member of Off the Lake Productions
starting in 2009, including stage manager for The Wedding Singer (2010)
and The Drowsy Chaperone (2011) and performing in My Junk (2010). Katie
performed in her high school show choir as well as in High School Musical
(2007), Jekyll & Hyde (2007) and Crazy For You (2008). She also served as
Technical Director for Four Chairs Productions from 2010-2011. Katie
works as the Education Coordinator and City Center Gallery Director at the
OSU Urban Arts Space. She is graduating from The Ohio State University
in June of this year with a bachelor's degree in English. Nikki Rehmert (Choreographer) has been dancing since age 3 when she
became a Peggy Halley Dancer. She’s choreographed The Rocky Horror
Show (also Janet), Annie Get Your Gun, Joseph, and Annie Jr. In addition
to choreographing Avenue Q, Nikki will also create movement for Arena
Fair’s summer production of Into the Woods. She has danced in shows
with the College Light Opera Company in MA, Opera Columbus, Children’s
Hospital Pleasure Guild, CCT, ECP, and CP. Roles include Sr. Amnesia in
Nuncrackers! and the Narrator in Joseph. Nikki holds a B.M. in Musical
Theatre from Capital University. In her free time, she creates Journals and
Disney Autograph Books for her side business at ouata.etsy.com.
Seth Rodgers (Technical Director, Sound Technician, Set Specialist) most
recently directed Imagine's first run of The Rocky Horror Show. He was
also seen on stage as Brad Majors (asshole) in CSP's The Rocky Horror
Show and and as Chuck Cranston in Footloose. After leaving his career as
a Chef to pursue one in Financial Services, Seth enjoys the creative outlet
the empowering world of community theater offers.
Carl Stolzenburg (Brian, Marketing Director) is proud to be involved with
this fantastic cast and at how far Imagine Productions of Columbus has
come in its first year! He was last seen on stage as Eddie in The Rocky
Horror Show and in 2010 with ECP’s RENT! A wholesale manager for
Homemade Brand Ice Cream by day, Carl drives all over the state singing
show tunes and fills his “free time” as Imagine’s Director of Marketing. He
wishes to thank all the supportive people in his life, especially Melody, who
every day inspires him (and who had the script memorized before he did.)
Steve Stumphauzer (Puppet Master) is joining Imagine for the first time. He
has previously directed shows such as Pippin and Evolution Theater's Devil
Boys from Beyond, as well as several short films. Onstage credits include
Reefer Madness, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, and Beauty and the
Beast. He also appeared in the CWRU Eldred production of What the
Butler Saw and LCMT's Hello Dolly in the Greater Cleveland area. Steve
has sung with the Columbus Symphony Chorus and Case Concert Choir,
as well as far too loudly in Church according to whoever happens to be
sitting next to him. When not working to pay off his college loans, Steve
enjoys yoga, libraries, and recreating medieval recipes.
P. Tim Valentine (Music Director, Artistic Director) served as the director for
Imagine’s inaugural show, The Wedding Singer, and assistant director for
The Rocky Horror Show. Tim has been seen on stage as Mark in Rent, the
Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswold in Assassins, and Nathan Detroit in Guys
and Dolls and was on production teams for Gypsy, Sweet Charity, Mame,
Zombies from the Beyond, and Grease. He has sung with the Columbus
Gay Men’s Chorus, the Columbus Symphony Chorus, and as the tenor
soloist at Trinity United Methodist Church. He holds degrees in Music
Education from West Virginia University and Student Affairs from Ohio
State. Tim serves as the Arts Scholars Program Manager at OSU.
GUEST PERFORMERS
Princeton (Himself) has just graduated college with a B.A. in English, enjoys
making illegal copies of CD's to give to his friends, and is currently
spending his days searching for his PURPOSE in life. If you happen to
know what that is, please find him after the show and let him know.
Kate Monster (Herself) likes romantic things like music and art, is a member
of the National Association for the Advancement of Furred People (NAAFP),
loves being a teacher and is fairly dissatisfied with the quality of single men
in Columbus. Nicky (Himself) is happiest on a sofa with a large pizza. Currently between
jobs, he considers himself a freelance Jack-of-all-trades. He’d like to send
a shout out to his best buddy Rod.
Rod (Himself) spends his days as an investment banker and pours his
substantial resources into his collection of Broadway literature and
anonymous contributions to Republican superpacs.
Trekkie Monster (Himself) likes porn.
Female Bad Idea Bear (Herself) is currently off her schizophrenia
medication. She likes making new friends, boozing and debauchery. She
also enjoys daytime TV.
Male Bad Idea Bear (Himself) was recently fired from a role in a popular
children’s program for urinating on the star during a telethon. Lucy the Slut (Herself) misses the other girls from Girls Gone Wild, but is
excited to perform for all of you. If you don't feel special after watching her
set, give her a call and she'll make sure you feel great by the time you
leave.
Mrs. Thistletwat (Herself) has been an educator for 53 years and has never
missed a day of school. She enjoys giving a sense of discipline to
otherwise soft kindergarten students and has no tolerance for idle chitchat,
daydreaming or tomfoolery.
Joel Gennari (Puppet Design) with Jerid Fox, own Bluefox Arts &
Entertainment, a company that provides props, set dressing, and of course
puppets for many of the professional theatres in Tampa Bay including the
University of Tampa. Joel was trained as a puppeteer by master puppeteer
Jeff Conover. After years of puppeteering at Disneyland, Joel moved to
Florida and learned to design and build them. He has since built puppets
for multiple projects and theatres including the Gorilla Theatre, American
Stage, FreeFall Theatre, and the acclaimed new musical Disenchanted!
which has been performed all over the US and is headed for an OFFBroadway run! Joel has also taught puppetry for many theatres around
Tampa Bay. Joel's recent puppetry credits include Stuart in The Adventures
of Stuart Little (American Stage Tour - for which he also built the puppets),
Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors (Show Palace), and multiple puppets
including a giant elephant puppeteered on stilts in Iceploration at Busch
Gardens. Find out more at: joelgennari.com and bluefoxarts.com.
CAST AND CREW
Logun Baker (Sound Assistant, Board Member) has been involved in every
show Imagine has produced, most recently as Georg in Spring Awakening
and Brad in The Rocky Horror Show. He also played in the ensemble of
Imagine's inaugural show The Wedding Singer and serves as a
membership representative on Imagine's Board.
CAST AND CREW
Emma Harvey (Christmas Eve) received her degree in Vocal Performance
from Capital University. She has performed in Europe with a Columbusbased choir, Germania. She has participated in community theatre
performances, namely Titanic, Nunsense and The Full Monty. She also
plays violin, and enjoys spoiling her niece, Waverly.
Annie Bobbitt (Lucy the Slut) is glad to be involved with her first Imagine
Productions of Columbus show. Annie was most recently seen onstage as
Joy in Columbus Children Theatre's production of Cinderella and as Rosie
in Off the Lake Production's The Wedding Singer. Annie is a recent Ohio
State University graduate and spends her days job hunting and performing
with The Murder Mystery Company. She sends many thanks to her friends,
family, and boyfriend for putting up with her busy schedule. Cheers to this
wonderful cast; it's been a pleasure!
Todd Holland (Rod) is extremely proud to be working with the Cast and
Crew of Imagine Productions of Columbus. This is Todd’s first performance
with Imagine. He was last seen on stage in CSP’s 2011 production of
RENT as Tom Collins. He spends most of his time running all over
Columbus balancing, work, life, rehearsal, and nursing school where he
graduates from June 24, 2012. He would really like to give praise and
thanks for all the supportive individuals surrounding him through all his
endeavors.
Brandon Boring (Nicky) is making his Imagine Productions debut with
Avenue Q. He has been acting since the 7th Grade and hasn’t looked back
since. His favorite roles include Hunter in [title of show], Oscar in The Odd
Couple, and Zoser in Aida. He also directed a production of Doctor
Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog and Commentary! The Musical while at Ohio
State. Though he hasn’t done the research, he is fairly confident he’s the
most musical tax man in the business.
Andrea Klinker (Assistant Director) was recently seen as Adult Woman in
Imagine’s premiere of Spring Awakening. She graduated from Capital
University in 2009 with a B.A. in Communication with minors in Theatre and
Spanish. Andrea has worked for CU’s Summer Stock theatre program and
the Resource Nonprofit Fundraising. She performed in many CU theatre
productions including Little Shop of Horrors, Twelfth Night, The Crucible,
and Big River and was an active member of the Improv comedy group. In
her spare time, you will find Andrea singing in Grove City with Voices Off
Broadway and A-Symmetry and enjoying the Columbus arts scene. Andrea
is the Box Office Assistant for the Columbus Children’s Theatre.
Steven Carnahan (Princeton) might be so excited to join the Imagine
Productions family and perform this show for you that he might wet
himself. He was last seen as Vlad Vladikoff in Seussical: The Musical with
Pleasure Guild, Simeon/Butler in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor
Dream Coat with Arena Fair Theater, and Jake in Zombie Prom with
Drawing Room Theater. Steven currently works as a Pharmacy Technician
and is the Color Guard instructor for the Lancaster High School Marching
Band. He would like to thank everyone involved in this show, especially this
amazing cast and creative team!
Lisa McNally (Female Bad Idea Bear/Mrs. Thistletwat) What do you do with
a B.A. In music? You perform in community theater! Lisa earned her useless
degree in vocal performance from Otterbein in 2002 and has been seen on
the local stage as Pitty Sing in The Mikado, Philia in A Funny Thing
Happened on the Way to the Forum and assistant director of Reefer
Madness. When she's not on stage she's putting her talents to good use
slinging coffee beans at your local Starbucks! She wants to thank Imagine
for including her in this fabulous production as well as all her supportive
friends and family! Please tip your service workers! Jackie Farbeann (Costumer, Board Secretary) has been stitching for as long
as she can remember. She developed an interest in theater and began
costuming in 2003. The other work she does varies from altering wedding
dresses to creating mink coats for rescued pugs. Her latest interest is
conservation and restoration of historic textiles and she is in the process of
preserving several quilts that are family heirlooms. Jackie has costumed
numerous shows in Columbus including both The Wedding Singer and The
Rocky Horror Show during Imagine’s inaugural year. She is currently
costuming Legally Blonde at Pickerington North High School.
Corey Notman (Director) most recently directed Nuncrackers (2010), in
addition to Grease (2006) and The Rocky Horror Show (2005), as well as
assistant directed The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (2005). He was last
seen on stage as Stephen Kodaly in She Loves Me. He has had roles in
Grease, Zombies from the Beyond, Little Shop of Horrors, Children of Eden,
and 1776. Corey has performed with Opera Columbus, including a NYC
Stage production of Pirates of Penzance. He has sung with the Columbus
Gay Men’s Chorus and the Capital University Chapel Choir. He holds a B.A.
in Theatre from Capital University. Corey serves as a Senior Account
Specialist/Customer Services Trainer at BMW Financial Services.
Lena Haleem (Gary Coleman) is excited to be acting with Imagine
productions for the first time! A recent high school graduate, she took part
in fourteen plays at Dublin Scioto High School, with roles such as Miss
Hannigan in Annie, Dotty Otley/Mrs. Clackett in Noises Off! and Eileen
Harper in Arsenic and Old Lace. She would like to thank her friends for
being the most supportive and amazing people on the planet, the cast for
being so wonderful and encouraging, and her family for tolerating her
coming home at eleven each night, after rehearsal.
Eric Neuenschwander (Male Bad Idea Bear/Newcomer) is more excited
then Trekkie on the day he got Broadband to be making his Imagine
Production debut in Avenue Q. His theatre credits include Franz Liebkind
(The Producers) and Amos Hart (Chicago) with Columbus Children's
Theatre, and Music Directing Off the Lake Production's The Drowsy
Chaperone. Eric is a proud alumnus of the OSU School of Music, The OSU
Men's Glee Club, and Dynamic Contrast Accapella. He would like to thank
all of his neighbors on Avenue Q along with his friends and family for their
love and support.
