2017 Schedule - Burlington Irish Heritage Festival

our 22nd
annual festival
2017
Monday, February 27
7:30 pm Concert: The Chieftains
Majestic tin whistles, soaring fiddles, thunderous
bodhrán, and concertinas redolant of the verdant
hills of Ireland have kept the Chieftains’ name
synonymous with traditional Irish music for over
50 years. Led by founding member Paddy
Maloney — arguably the most important name in
Irish music history — the band has spread Ireland’s indigenous songs and
styles to the rest of the world ... The Chieftains rarely make their way to
the Burlington area — an uncommon treat not to be missed.
