2014 NZARH Editorial Stylist Finalists
This year we received a total of 698 entries for the 2014 NZARH Editorial Stylist Photographic
Competition. The entries for Colour totalled an impressive 143, with 36 in Le Male, 76 in Next
Generation and 130 in the Novice section.
Our judges, Grant Bettjeman, Amanda Dorcil and Julie Koberstein had their work cut out selecting
the finalists and all agreed that the standard of work was impressive across the board.
Competition Committee Chairperson, David Shields said, “The standard and variety of the work
submitted this year is a testament to the depth of skills and passion for hairdressing in New Zealand
at all levels. I’m looking forward to the announcement of the winners at the Industry Awards on the
9th November, where we will have more feedback from the judging panel”.
