ᜰᗤຠȈ ߧማᏢǴ઱‫ޑ‬រǴ೎౩‫׬‬೚
Abstract
"Powdery rust" is a highly harmful rust product. Powdery rust appeared in one bronze with large-areas are
more dangerous. This paper will take on a technique. First the whole bronze with powdery rust is dipped in
sodium bicarbonicum solution, which will neutralize acids which come from buried environment. Secondly,
the bronze is put into certain concentration of hydrogen peroxide, and chloride ion which is existed in bronze
will form chlorine and give out. Chloride ion's concentration that will control the whole process is determined
by electrode. Then, the bronzes are dried in low temperature and use hot negative pressure drop method for
bit powdery rust. Finally, when chloride ion is wipe off clearly, Paraloid B-72 will cover the whole bronze
surface in order to protect all bronzes safely.
