Catherine Hubbard is a graduate of the Guthrie Job Corps Center in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She completed in the HBI
plumbing trade, a non-traditional trade for a woman, under the direction of HBI Instructor Wayne Harrison. She also
received her Penn Foster High School Diploma while attending Guthrie Job Corps. She has only been in her position
at work for a little over a year and has already received a four percent raise. Catherine says, "It feels good to have a
'real' job with 'real' benefits. Catherine's next goal is to attend college for Geoscience and Natural Resources with
Water Conservation. Catherine said, "A young person thinking about Job Corps should take advantage of the
opportunity and choose their friends wisely."
